Man, it must be call out of work day. I had 2 people call out entirely and another 2 that had things come up and need a couple hours off during the day.

I'm here all day cuz I'm a responsible adult. But I'm off tomorrow because I'm getting my new carpet installed.

I have to leave at 2:30 today to take one of our kids to the dentist. Not the whole day off, but I'll take it.
 
This isnt a knock against ign and their shitty videos but using their videos for tomb raider and they missed a fucking gps cache. It was in shipwreck beach too, which glad I got caught it cause there is supposed to be a bug where if you fast travel back it'll just crashed your game.

Had to backtrack some for it, but wasnt too bad really. Uncharted with a chick is still pretty good, having fun running through it.

I'm working all day too. Don't even know when my next day off is at this point.
 
The Last Tinker 100%ed. I shit on the game when I started it and quit it for a while, but I liked it a lot more once I went back to it and got further into it. If you're into that type of game (action/adventure platformer with some light puzzling), then I'd say it's worth it at $4 or less. 

 
Its Monday.  No one should work on Monday since no one really does anything anyway.  Same with Friday though even more people take that day off.

Basically we only really "work" T-Th.  And yet somehow America is still the best economy in the world consistently.  What the fuck are these lazy fuck s in other countries doing?  They must seriously work 10 hour work weeks.

Gaming schedule for day off:

  • Defeat guardian in La Mulana (P something... you fight him on a plane)
  • rescue that winged guy in Tales of Hearts R . How much longer is left? I know the graphite dude is the end boss
  • get another shard in Bastion (the game is getting dull. but I should finish )
  • stage 3-3 in Stealth Inc 2
 
I'm working today. And probably the rest of the week. Might leave early at some point this week to "get some work done that requires a windows PC" office is mac only, so I was going to use my home desktop to do it. I'll likely just end up playing the division after I finish up the windows only junk.

And that's why I'm glad I work in a hospital lab instead of a clinical setting. I really like the un-predictable nature of it all. Any day can be jam-packed busy or totally dead.

You really don't know what the work load is going to be when you step in the door. Which does make staffing an issue, when we're overstaffed we can send someone home early, but then things might pick up in the next few hours. Who knows.

I can't remember where I read it, but recently I saw a study showing that Americans work significantly more hours but are only just as productive as our European friends who work less.

well they cant quite match our production cause if they did their economies would be stronger, though they definitely work less and more efficiently. Even when we are at the office half the day is people bull shitting with each other.

but my friends in England are similar. They BS a lot, and they seem to have more fun cause they are relaxed and can truly make off hand remarks and jokes without any worry of repercussion. They say some things that are hilarious but would get me fired if I said them to my employees here in the states.

Oddly enough my favorite Fable game was Fable Heroes, the downloadable beat'em up with board game elements. That shit was fun as hell.

Forgot I had a 5 cert for being my birthday month, used it on helldivers, paid 12 after tax, traded for 8 cash to GS, so 4 bucks out of pocket for all the DLC.
