PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Tyler, quit arguing with wren and let me know if I should buy this Assault Cactus game or not. I need to know how many diamonds it has.

technically he said he would just give it to the first person that quoted him. they didnt have to say anything really. so Tyler is making shit up now.

RECOUNT! RECOUNT!

TributeGames finally revealed their next game. It's called Flinthook. There's a website and some say the reveal video is there, but all I see is a logo: http://flinthook.com. But here's the super-sped up reveal video on Youtube:

Awesome music.

I already bought it. That should inform your decision one way or the other.
YOUR super condescending with your constant self deprecating humor!

Sorry guys I dont know how to stop. I need an intervention. Or a new job that I dont absolutely hate and will do anything else to not do any work. especially objectives that i need to be doing for my employees.

Im going to pick up my super new and super expensive golfing clubs and bag today after work then get my super cool copy of The Division on the way home so the real super cool kids can kill me over and over tonight in the dark sector or whatever they call it.

Im super condescending cause I am so super chill and retarded.

4 diamonds, I'll post my review tomorrow. I think you should buy it. It needs to be played more like a bullet hell game than a twin stick shooter. I was not liking it at first because because I was being way to offensive just trying to blast things, it's definitely more important to not get hit by things than it is to hit the enemies.

We made the wrong decision.

I also made a video, I didn't realize how ridiculously easy it is to make videos with commentary on the PS4. I'll be doing a lot more, this was just a practice run with no script and one take.

So you have the sort of relationship with us that you have with fighting games?
I actually can't remember the last time I had so much fun with a fighting game. It's frustrating as shit but in a good way. Every time I lose in sf5 I know exactly why and sometimes I can correct my bad behavior and get a little better. Plus matchmaking has been excellent for me - I think I've probably actually played 200+ ranked matches and I've only had maybe a dozen complete blowouts. And I think 10 or fewer ragequitters which is crazy (but I also lose a lot). No shitty post match messages either and a couple friend requests from good matchups for practice. So far at least out of the morning wake up crew it's been an insanely positive experience.

I really hope they do a good job of expanding the game (like Killer Instinct has done - they've had amaaaazing post release support I think). I'm going to stick with this one.

Nothing like rewatching something like this to realize how much you say "um" and "like".....ugh.

That is something that almost everyone does naturally and its the hardest thing to get rid of for public speaking. But once you do it makes you sound really confident and you know your shit since your not searching for words.

I have to speak on a weekly management call and always try to write out what i am going to say so I dont say um at all. But I usually throw a pause in so its not too robotic or like I am reading it.

Otherwise I would say um all the time.

That looks really fun. Now I'll have to decide whether I should get it now to support the devs.

Let it go already, I learned from my evil bad ways and I'm already on the other side thanks to all of you. :grouphug:

Flinthook looks awesome, even just from that intro screen.
Bro, this is PSNOT. We NEVER let shit go.

:D/

I've only played a bit of Broforce in coop, so I can't say we for sure made the wrong call yet. But the online was kinda laggy, I need to check it out solo and see if I like it more.

The online is a mess. Hopefully they can get it working right. I guess private matches work but are laggy. Public matches are completely broken for me, though it did improve somewhat the last time I tried, but still broken.

The Orioles sent me a bill in the mail yesterday. Or at least it looks like a bill for renewing season tickets. I didn't renew this year for money reasons mostly, but then I got this apparent bill in the mail which I think they are trying to trick me into paying. That's pretty shitty.

I think I'd like to get all 3 of the Vote to Play games, and Enter the Gungeon. And probably other stuff. Jesus. I can't play games this fast.

The Bit.Trip is fun but really weird. I've only played Beat (on Level 2), Core (finished), and Void (on Level 3) so far. I'm not sure if I'll go for the plat, but I'll try.

The Division is ok. Some of the encounters seem too ridiculous to handle without a group. And the Dark Zone looks to be completely off limits for solo players.

Anyone here running a PS3, yes PS3 not PS4, with an SSD...if so worth it?
No, but I suspect it wouldn't make a huge difference. I'm not seeing some incredible speed up on my PS4 from using a SSHD (admittedly not an SSD, but close). I've seen a comparison video since and while SSHDs and SSDs are faster then an HDD, there isn't that big of a difference (and even less difference between SSHD and SSD). I'm not sure why not, because an SSD certainly makes a big difference on a computer, but it doesn't on the PS4. No ragrets, though. It does shave some seconds off but an SSHD is a lot more affordable then an SSD. If I had spent the money on a 1 TB SSD I'd have been pretty damn disappointed at the result.

I never cared for SSHD, I bought one once and it failed in 2 days...never bothered again. The PS3 and PS4 use a SATA 2 controller instead of 3 so that's why the SSD bump isn't as much as on a computer. I was wondering if anyone had more real world results on PS3. Thanks for mentioning your results on PS4 though, might be fairly telling of what to expect on the PS3.

So far no problems with the SSHD and I didn't see much in the way of problems reported in reviews on amazon. It's a Seagate SSHD.

What do you mean it's off limits? I was able to play the Dark Zone in the beta and I wasn't teamed up with anyone.
You can go there, but we were trying to extract for just one of our teammates and got swarmed by NPCs and other players in seconds. Some group of two was contemplating taking us out and we had a group of four. So I imagine any person just by themselves is going to be quite the target.

I wasn't saying yours would fail, just that mine did. The one I had was a Seagate as well. They largely have great reviews and it was why I bought one in the first place :) SSDs are finally starting to come down in price. The 1TBs are still pretty pricey though.
