PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I'm not sure. We were watching Disney Jr earlier. It seems to do just fine for the live TV, but if you want to watch anything previous it acts like it has to record to some cloud DVR first. ? So you need to pick what you want to watch, and then watch it later (if it's not live)
ABC, NBC and FOX are on-demand only in the slim packages. That sounds like you get a menu of shows to watch. Well, if you get a chance, take a look at it.

I wanted to save that for if they add MASN/MASN2 any time soon. If it does these things, though, I'd sign up now.
I don't know if that's possible since it seems all the sports networks currently on there are owned by NBC/Fox/ESPN. Even YES is owned by Fox. Isn't MASN owned by the O's and Nats?

So I finally looked at the vr thing. What the hell do all those cables do? How is this better than the vr thing I tried 20 years ago at a carnival? Other than not having to stand on a cart ring thing it's the same still. Big ass helmet with lots of wires and cables.

I remember being at Dave & Busters in Chicago 20 years ago and I had a choice between hitting a golf ball at a screen or wearing a ridiculous VR helmet while everybody watched and laughed. Neither one of these things seems to have advanced much technologically but I guess the golf didn't need to.

Yes, but not sure why they couldn't make a deal?
I'm not saying they can't. It just seems like every channel on there, not just the sports channels, is owned by a larger group like Viacom, Fox, NBC, AMC Networks, etc. Maybe that's how they keep costs down, by doing package deals with the companies. It might not be feasible to try to license one network that would only be available to a small region. This is all just speculation, though. I might be talking out my ass. I'm chill.

maybe we should have a contest tomorrow to see who the most chill is.

Edit - maybe there will be a $200 psn code for the winner

If anyone here doesn't think I'm the most chill, maybe this will change your mind:

You're all a bunch of fat fucks with ugly grrrls and to prove how much I don't care about this contest I'm going to make 100 posts about it tomorrow.

I read through all the comments on the Vue blog post and somebody there noted that the ABC on demand didn't let you watch Agents of SHIELD. But you can log in on ABC's site with Vue credentials and watch it that way. Strange. And not ideal. No idea if that includes last season.

Hi Guys!

I know I've been extremely MIA

I've been wanting to stop by but I got promoted at work yay! I'll be on soon though, I'm gonna be working from home next month so Yay, more CAG time! :D

I was trying to play resogun with my dawg cro and it turns out my PS plus lapsed. I could have sworn I was good for a few more months. Had to buy three months at the reg price real quick.

I'm wondering if there are any streaming rights that Sony would run into with Vue where something can't be streamed live.  It occasionally happens on Sling with a movie or program on TCM and some other channel.

Sounds like someone needs some Booty-O's.

Inexplicably, my glitched-but-surviving homefront goliath edition preorder from Amazon got another 20% prime discount added overnight thus making it entirely free. Did anyone keep those re6 or shiren preorders? Just curious if they added another one on to those after we all cancelled.

The Knight Artorias fight in Dark Souls' DLC ranks up there with Bloodborne's Watchdog of the Old Lords as one of my favorite boss fights.
What did you enjoy so much about the Watchdog? Its pretty easy once you die a few times learning his tells, he gives you plenty of time to react. The only difficulty comes artificially from the chalice health debuff. Granted I was thrilled once I beat him, but looking back I realized it wasn't all that impressive.

It turns out I've had my modem since 2004. 12 years strong! I was able to get a direct connection working on my computer but WiFi is still dead. Guess I'll wait the 24 hours to activate the new device on Thursday once I'm in the new place.

It was a very intense fight where I could die at a moment's notice (particularly from its insta-kill lunge) if I wasn't paying attention. I didn't enjoy the fight so much for its difficulty as I did for its pacing--getting in a hit here-and-there while dodging attacks made the whole encounter feel very epic, and finally landing the killing blow felt extremely rewarding.

I got a similar feeling from the Artorias fight, though that almost felt more thrilling since I was fighting another sword-user instead of a giant dog.

Yeah and mid-30s-40s fits the character much better than somebody younger anyway. Indy was introduced as a respected professor and experienced adventurer. You can't do that with a younger actor without losing some of the character's believability.
But we don't know if the new lead is gonna be Indy 2.0 or young Indy or random other adventuring dude that gets mentored by Indy but is really nothing like him.

Yeah, obviously if they change the backstory of the lead it's likely to impact who should play the role. I was talking about Indy, though.

Harrison Ford is Indy. But if you're meaning young Indy, we have no idea about time frame.

And how can they change the backstory of the lead if we don't know the lead. That'd be called "introducing the character."

I thought it was OK as long as you had a guide (shut up, Tyler), and I liked how it really felt like a survival game in that supplies and ammo were very, very scarce and most confrontations with enemies were life-or-death. I'd give it 3.5/5 diamonds.
It gave me motion sickness, so I'm probably alot tougher on the game than I should be.

Tyler, I don't know if you're still looking for it (IIRC, you managed to score a copy from somewhere else), but Gamestop dropped the used price for Asura's Wrath to $9.99: http://www.gamestop.com/ps3/games/asuras-wrath/90838
I sold him my copy a while back. Such a ridiculous and fun game. Too bad they screwed up so badly with the "epilogue" DLC which was really the proper ending. I don't think they could ever have made a sequel based on the same character due to how the story worked, but I imagine the disc ending didn't help sales.
