PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

We would have to rewrite the rules for safeties too.  I think if you get a safety then you could have the option to make the team punt it to you like they do now, or just take the ball on the 40 or 50 or something.   Even at the 40, most teams would say fuck the punt, just give us the damn ball (Keyshawn).  And more potential for scores the other way again.

NCAA Basketball tournament on the office TVs Thursday & Friday and India/Bangladesh WorldT20 (whatever that is) cricket match on the TV now.

Yay work?

Except kickoffs are boring as fuck and dumbass kick returners usually take it about 6 yards deep in the endzone and only ever make it out to the 15 yard line.

Like Wren said, get rid of kickoffs except for onside kicks. Even on penalties that would change the kickoff placement, just tack that on to where the other team starts with the ball.

Kickoffs probably only still exist now because networks can shoe-horn commercials in on both sides of the kickoff.
You're dead on with the last piece, that's probably one of the main reasons. Easy ad opportunities.

I actually like the kicking in football.  I think they should add more, actually.  Maybe even make a rule that you can't touch the ball with your hands to maximize the kicking.  Then you could only score with field goals, but they'd need to change the dimensions of the goalposts and make it so you need to get it under the bar instead of over it.  That would make football a really great sport.

But then wouldn't that be soccer?

Peggle 2 played great via Remote Play last night with the PS4 on WiFi.  Even when I went upstairs away from the router and PS4 (except for a couple slight stutters).

Excellent game for watching TV to, as previously reported.

That's a super intertesting map.

Mugsy Bouges in Wyoming is a little random. So is Ewing in Vermont.

And you'd think Shaq or Marino would win over Dion in Florida. Or Dominique in Georgia.

And any Cowboy over Hakeem in Texas.

And is that Babe Ruth in South Dakota? wtf

My gf and I took turns playing it the last 2 nights. We like it. I think she may be better at it (or luckier) than I am.

Well, I guess I get to write a letter to my state Senator today.  He is one of the assholes who voted for this "Religious Liberties" nonsense in GA.  At least I get to write one to my Representative to thank him for not having his head up his ass too.  That one is really more important because I think the Governor is going to surprisingly veto it.  It appears the Senate has enough to override the veto, but the House doesn't.  Hopefully it stays that way.

Behold the power of the NFL threatening to not put a Super Bowl in the new Falcons' stadium.

But seriously Georgia, you saw equally asinine bills get passed and destroyed in Indiana and wherever else. Time to accept reality that even though people are different, they're still people.

Honestly, I do not really think it is the NFL. That is a part of it, but his legacy is likely to be more about creating a huge amount of income for Georgia by luring the entertainment industry here. I am pretty sure Georgia is only second to California in terms of film and television production going on now. There are a ton of high tech companies here now as well due to breaks they give them as well. A lot of that could go away quickly if that law passes. The economy here would be crippled.

It's sad that money is the main motivation for vetoing the bill, instead of you know treating people decently.

For short segments of this video I could see myself staying caught up. For the rest of it? Not a chance.

Looking forward to this, Vig?

I'm so glad you guys are taking the time to rewrite the rules of football... it's going to be so exciting when you submit your suggestions to the NFL and they start to integrate all of this awesomeness.

Please continue, we want to make sure you get it right the first time.... you'll never get taken seriously if you have to submit a bunch of revisions

Hope your state is smarter than mine. We've got free 'visitor guide' magazines in the airport now with giant "Indy Welcomes All" print all over the cover in a vague attempt to not look quite so shitty.

Can we stop posting weird maps without sources? And even if it has a source can we please review it to see if it is a legitimate source?

Why would a former Philadelphia Eagle be the top selling jersey in Utah?

The source is Mitchell & Ness, as indicated on the map. And Dawkins because he played his last three years in Denver?

Hey, whatever works. Understanding the power of green $, is allot simplier for most people than tolerance. Tolerance takes time. Cash is instantaneous.

They shouls put the ball in the middle of the field and have two guys rush for it like dodgeball and have guys with "HE HATE ME" on their jerseys cut promos before the games.

Then why wouldn't it be a Broncos Dawkins jersey?

And I have no clue what Mitchell & Ness is. Sounds like hair salon supplies.

I'm wondering how Deion Sanders is the top selling jersey in Fla. I'd think Marino or somebody would have a better shot.

I'm supposed to believe a Nolan Ryan jersey is the most popular one in NC when we have Cam?  And that Muggsy Bogues' Hornets jersey is the most popular in Wyoming?

What's their sample size of sales, 10 people?

It might not be right, but he went to FSU and is from Florida. And Atlanta isnt far from Florida. He is probably still the most famous athlete from Florida no?
I overlooked those two facts. But still, I'd think even someone like Dewayne Wade would have a better shot than Sanders. But whoknows.

Mitchell & Ness is a company that makes all throwback gear. Throwback jerseys, hats, sweaters, tassells, whatever. That's why the map doesn't have any current players (besides Kobe of course but it's the jersey with his old number so technically a throwback).

And here's the link on their site explaining it.

https://www.mitchellandness.com/company/best-selling-players-by-state-2015/

Basically that map only shows 2015 sales data. The link also shows the best seller for 2014.

Floridians dont give two shits about basketball. Football all the time. Thats the other reason why it would be a football player.

EDIT: throwback research nails it. PRIME TIME, PRIME TIME, PRIME TIME. Sanders was one of the most exciting athletes of all times.
