PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I'd wait at least a full business day before following up. If this is going on right now, and you're on day one of waiting, I might wait and follow up late thrusday/early friday morning so it's one of the first things they see. And again on early Monday if you don't hear back.
That'd be cool and all except for Good Friday and Easter happenings this weekend. And they want me to start in under two weeks so the sooner I can tell current work peeps the better. But I don't wanna say anything before I actually get the actual offer.

Also, are you 100% sure the offer stuff was going to be email? I thought they usually snail mailed that stuff. Admittedly, it has been a long time since I switched jobs by any means other than a buy-out.
Well I was 100% sure until you said this. Now I'm at maybe 99%. Asshole.

Do you guys still care about FF? Just an honest question not a douchey one. It just seems like Final Fantasy might need to have it's Final Fantasy at this point. I guess this one could re-invigorate the series if it's good, was the demo generally well received? I guess it doesn't help things that these games are taking an inordinate amount of time to be made.
Oh yeah. Never actually been hyped for a FF before this one. Action RPG without that turn based crap, looks like a lot of fun. Hopefully the cinematics are skippable because I'm sure they'll drone on forever.

No mention of Games with Gold for April yet?

So hypothetical:

Suppose you had a great couple of interviews for a great new job that's a move forward instead of a move sideways like recent job switches and at a fun place that likes drinking and has a Frogger machine in their lunchroom and has actual paid holidays off and other fun things. And suppose that place emailed you and said they loved you and would love for you to join their team. And suppose you then talked to an HR guy who said they'd email the offer over to you so you can get started on all your two-weeks stuff. And suppose that offer email doesn't come before the end of that day. Or even the morning of the next day.

How long would someone wait to email them back asking about said offer email without sounding like a "where's my goddamn shit" rage boy?
Don't forget to check your SPAM.

Yeah the action RPG element has me interested, but I'll probably take a wait and see approach.

How's Estival Versus compare to Shinovi Versus? Still plagued with constant long load times?
On Vita, they might be worse (can't speak for the PS4 version)--when enemy fighters enter a stage, the load time can be 10+ seconds. The overall gameplay also feels much more sluggish/slow.

I can't definitively which is better until I put more time into Estival, but as of now I recall Shinovi being slightly more fun.

The real question is was this hypothetical offer high enough to allow the receiver, whoever that may be, to move out of their current shitty living situation?

Certainly enough to allow this person to go out drinking and to concerts and expensive $12 theater movies every night of the week.

Cool. Just added the PS4 version to my GF Q, then. I enjoyed the combat and most of the characters, but the tediousness of the load screens just completely killed the Vita version of Shinovi Versus for me.

Wren, how's Galak-Z?
The tutorial was a lot of fun! Well not really yet. Still getting use to the strange controls Tyler had mentioned. I will like it if it doesnt get too frustrating and apparently saving to the cloud helps alleviate the issue of restarting the entire season if you die.

I think that games with gold lineup looks pretty dang good.  I'd want to play everything for the month which (therm'ing aside) isn't true of any ps+ month for me in a while.

I wanted to try Sunset Overdrive. Almost grabbed it used at Game Stop the other day. Play SR4 on PS3 and almost finished it on PS4. Played Wolf among us on Vita, PS3 and PS4. Tried Dead space 2 or 3 a few years ago but didn't play much of it.

TLDR; Will play Sunset. Rest already played multiple times.

Just play it on Arcade mode to alleviate that issue. I thought mpaullin said it had been patched in?

Money isn't much different but the benefits are waaaaaaay better and no more contract. So I can actually take paid days off and shit and be home when the rest of you assholes are. But yeah not enough to move out. Waiting for her funds to start rolling in more and the school year to end to get that ball rolling.

$12 movies? I'm thrifty for my movies son! And last night's was all completely freeeeeeee.

In his defense I'd probably be willing to spend the money to be out of the house as much as possible too.
This! For example, tonight I'm going to eat at a place with a mini-golf course and a ferris wheel called Betty Danger's Country Club
Betty-D-s.jpg

followed by bar trivia at a place called Donnie Dirk's Zombie Den.

Yeah, the PS4 screens are a lot faster for Estival Versus from what I can tell of comparing PS4 vs Vita gameplay. Plus if I play the PS4 version the wife will see the game and get pissed off, which should be fun.

I think one of my favorite things about Alexandra is that she doesnt have that ridiculous fake tan that most hot white girls all seem to have.

sf5 news for absolutely nobody that cares but me:

3/28 - update drops with challenges, 8 player battle lounges and bug fixes

3/30 - new character Alex drops along with the in-game shop to spend fancy fight bucks on

Yeah Arcade mode is the much needed wuss mode.
yeah I need that for this game especially since it has strange controls and that boost. I wouldn't be able to handle replaying an entire season over and over on a regular shooter let alone this.

I ain't no mpaulin that's for sure.

I'm not a glutton for punishment or anything. My pisspoor trophy collection will tell you that. Something about Galak-Z just clicked for me. The controls (which you will get used to) are just great and allow for some really fun/intense enemy encounters. The procedurally generated levels mean that it doesn't feel all that repetitive to start over.

I haven't tried Arcade mode but I don't imagine it is going to make the game much more enjoyable for people. The coolest part for me was upgrading your ship as you progressed through the season. Eventually you get really powerful making the increasing number of enemies easier to deal with. I'm not sure if they take away your upgrades upon death in Arcade mode, but either way it makes it less enjoyable (if they let you keep the upgrades, the game is going to be waaay easy and you'll breeze through the whole thing; if they don't let you keep upgrades, your going to be annoyingly underpowered for those later missions).

Anyone know any good deals on vita memory cards? I believe my 32gb is shot. It was having all sorts of problems, and now it won't even format. I wish I could find my old 8gb one laying around, but I'm sure it's long gone...I'm thinking I'll probably just grab a 16 or something if I find a good deal.

Just go 64GB and never look back.

Tldr: Graphics took a big downgrade and there's some character disappearance during movement, especially during enemy turns. Game runs well otherwise.
