PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Im like a child, I need to be entertained.

First season of Powers had it's moments, hopefully the second season irons out the kinks. New S2 trailer and release date of May 31st. Same set-up as last time, 3 episodes on the premiere date and then 1 episode a week after that. Haven't watched the trailer but I am guessing a big spoiler from the end of S1 will be featured prominently.

This is fucking hilarious

http://deadspin.com/yoenis-cespedes-decides-ball-thats-right-there-is-unpla-1766886124

Dude on the Astros hit a ball that rolled to the wall and under the raised padding. Ball was easily grabbed and playable. But Yoenis Cespedes throws his hands up and tries to get it called unplayable for a ground rule double. Meanwhile the batter kept running the bases for an inside the park homerun.

Ump comes out after and is all

I get the feeling it's going to be a long fucking year.

March Madness Hypeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Etsy has all sorts of cool homemade video game stuff. Those like me into pixels and collectibles could get lost for hours browsing all the cleverly created things on there.
Etsy is pretty sweet if you want custom stuff. There's a lot of really talented pixel artists that put their art up for sale on there that I've been tempted to grab.
+1

New Chicago style thin crust place opened up down the road.  They also have Chicago style dogs and sandwiches.  Looks tasty.

This reddit post is gross, it's getting tons of upvotes.

https://www.reddit.com/r/PS4/comments/4bs2js/i_think_it_is_time_ps_plus_got_better/

I'll be the first to admit that Sony could do a lot more to put games on plus that would appeal to a much wider audience. Right now Xbox is killing them in that regard.

But the comments all consist of:

"we keep getting top down shooters or other indie titles"

"sick to death of the indie cavalcade"

"it's always little games that aren't worth bothering with"

"I'm sick of the "indie games from steam". I want a real game, not a $5 POS I can buy any time I want."

Why do they have to insult games they haven't tried? Why do they have to generalize all the games into super generic labels? Why do they have to talk about the games like they're objectively garbage?

Then there's tons of stuff like this:

"It's pretty much 'Retro-esque Game X', 'Side-Scroller Y' and occasionally something solid like Gauntlet, Magicka or HellDivers."

Except everyone's list of games they like are different. It's almost as if different people like different games!

Anyways, just have to vent, because reading stupid shit fills me with murderous rage. I have no problem with people complaining, but back up your complaint with examples and something substantive. Everything being upvoted there is disgusting generalizations.

You should just stay here where it's safe and warm and we all share the same views. :grouphug:

One thing I can agree with is they might want to avoid day 1 releases if they have no guarantees that the game won't come out with numerous problems because the team had to rush to meet the deadline.

Luckily, for every Dragon Fin Soup there seems to be a Rocket League.

I really hope next month they have something AAA, no matter how old. Not because I care, I love all the indie games, but because the last 'big' game for ps4 was Styx? In July 2015. Unless you count twd season 2 in november. And if you don't count either of those its ground zeroes all the way back in june 2015.

Good point. I love Day 1 PS Plus releases cuz it means I don't already have it guaranteed. But yeah, there's been some buggy day 1 releases.

Tyler, can you really blame them and what they are saying?

You yourself got pissed after 3-4 months in a row of adventure games showing up on plus.

I really dont care enough to bitch about the free games, either I find something I like enough to play, like helldivers, or there is nothing that interests me. Either way I dont bitch much, sony doesnt OWE me anything. Damn millennials and their self entitlement ruin everything.

I just realized I forgot to buy 1 out of the 6 free games for this month.

And that I haven't touched any of the games for the last couple months, other than booting up Helldivers before I traded in the physical copy.

We have talked about this before. Some months XBox Live has had more mainstream games that the average gamer wants to play. Just because you LOVE all things indie doesn't mean the average gamer does.

I like more mainstream games. I do play some of these indie games but honestly a lot of them I don't even start up.

I also don't bitch and complain about it though (usually anyway). Even with some of the better / mainstream months by Xbox I end up having played most of those games anyway. I got in on the tail end of of March. Nothing I care about. Only one I will play for April is SO. I am not expecting it to be great or anything but still want to play it.

I also try not to read most comment on the Internet. Any asshole with a computer can say stupid shit and usually do.

As we joke about venturing outside this thread is sometimes pretty scary.

Bottom line play what you like and who gives a shit what some random fuck tards cry about.

Weird, tried to cast the a&m oklahoma game to my tv, but it looks like the app blocks chromecast for tbs, tnt, and trutv if you don't login. Dumb.

I can't believe Garry Shandling is dead. He was the single greatest comedian of all time. Every single word he said was hilarious. I've never found anyone funnier in my entire life. What a true artist and just an absolute genius.

No really, who the fuck is Garry Shandling?

More important question is how many people on your facebook totally overreacted to his passing?
