Started up Salt and Sanctuary and ended up playing it for 5 hours straight. It's really good. Plays perfectly--controls really well, very easy to get into, and when you die it's because you

ed things up. Lots of shortcuts to unlock, getting a decent enemy variety so far, and the upgrading system is pretty cool. Upgrades are similar to the sphere grid from FFX, so you have incrimental upgrades like adding 1 strength point, unlocking the ability to use level 2 cleric spells, etc..
If you're at all interested then buy it jump right in.
One note: When you get a sanctuary point be sure to offer a stone guide to it. That will let you warp to that sanctuary point--I went into the game not knowing anything and didn't realize how that worked until I put it down for the evening. I've already passed ~4 sanctuary points that I'll want to go back through and turn into warp spots now.
PSNP guide lists the plat at 15 hours. No idea how accurate that is, but the guide itself seems pretty solid so far. Check out the Playthrough Platinum Progress Route--I've gone through the first six locations and it's very easy to follow.
