PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I usually run my streams over wifi, they don't seem to lag much. At least not that anyone has complained about.

I know Mega Man can be difficult. Allow me to post the worst attempts I've seen at it:

And yeah, that's pretty much the only thing running at the time I use the internet.

I'm still somewhat new to the area so I'm not sure what my options are.

I used AOL back in 1995.

Watching this old 30 for 30 about bartman reminds me why I hate people. Cubs fans deserve to never see a winner by making him the skape goat.

That should get me some free likes from people in here.

Thats not a free like. You gave me the satisfaction of hearing a jab at Cubs fans in return. And, I'll probably get a free like from Zimm.

The wife and the Lady are both going to the same concert right now.

May Kratos have mercy on my soul.
And if they shall meet:

It is not impossible to get a good stream over wifi. However, you have to not have shit internet to start and a decent router. Also, if you live in an apartment and your neighbors all likely have wifi you are in a noisy situation where it is likely going to be even harder to get a signal to work reliably.

Way late to comment, but when doing speed tests with your laptop, are you connected wirelessly?

Wirelessly you will always be slower. If you are wired and are getting that speed, you need to bypass your router and connect directly to dsl modem. Then run same test. If you get a slow speed again, then it's either the wiring you did or you have a speed issue that you can report.

If you do get the good speed, then reconnect your router and run your test wired to your router. If it's slow then you now have a point of failure to test. Most routers, even cheapy ones, should still pass along that high of a speed. It's likely a 10/100 router and not a 1gb router.
That's wireless on my laptop. Wired my speeds are significantly better.

What is the upload speed suppose to be?

It's DSL and wireless. I get the feeling an ethernet cable won't help.

Could I use a cell phone as a hotspot and get better results that way?

1.5 mbps or 2 mbps I'd guess would be about the bare minimum for streaming, still may be a bit iffy at times there.

Like Gator said, if you're at all able to hardwire your PS4, I'd recommend doing it. Apparently the PS4 has a terrible wireless card.

I had to check to see if there are any decent video game movies I can't think of, and stumbled upon the fact that Mortal Kombat is the best reviewed movie based on a video game. That says a lot.
Based on what? Rotten Tomatoes? According to the wiki there are a few greater than or equal to that.

Final Fantasy: Spirits Within

Resident Evil

DOA: Dead or Alive

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

Though probably the best video game based media I ever saw was the Gungrave anime series. It's narrative structure is very similar to Berserk.

Oh cool, Gungrave is one of the things that is in stock used at gohastings.com for the half off sale. Hard to beat a 26 episodes anime series for $12 shipped.

Minecraft Vita 1.25 is out today and it adds six new trophies.

Change log for Patch 1.25 - April 6th 2016

Added Story Mode skin pack.
Added 6 new trophies.
Added new "Minecart Sounds" option to Audio Settings.
Added Huge Mushroom Blocks to the Creative and Superflat menus.
Improved sprint control.
Plus a bunch of fixes nobody cares about.

PSNP doesn't show the new trophies on the Vita version yet, but the PS3 version has 6 additional trophies as DLC Trophy Pack 4 so I'd expect them to be the new Vita ones as well:

I just got an invite to the Twin Cities Ghostbusters pinball machine launch party. At the Surly brewery. And Ernie Hudson Jr is gonna be there. Like holy shit.

So I played a bunch of dead star this morning. It's fun enough but I'd be a little surprised if it had legs. grindy trophies are grindy.
Which are grindy? The 100 kills ones, the wins one, or is there something else in the list I didn't notice? I haven't played or really looked at the game yet so I'm curious how many kills you get in a match and how long matches last.
