Im also "working" from home tomorrow.  I have to be on an all day conference call but figure I can half listen to most of it while playing Dead Star.

I have Prime but don't think it factors in. I preordered Quantum break a week or two ago. It came yesterday on release day but not till almost 5pm via UPS. Off today played some this morning.

Monday afternoon is when I saw that it was in my download list. It might have been there from the start. I don't know. But it was at least there Monday afternoon and I was able to download it (I mean I downloaded it Monday afternoon - didn't have to wait for midnight). Then on the PS4 you see the icon and a count down for when it becomes active.

yeah i already noticed the countdown on alienation in my library, but pretty sure it didnt actually download yet. who knows. Im sure i will be able to start it at 12:01am the 26th barring any PSN issues.

You can download it ahead of time. I downloaded Enter the Gungeon Monday afternoon.

One bad thing I've noticed about Prime lately....you'll be checking out, and it will say stuff like "Guaranteed 2 day delivery! Get it by April 8th!"

Then it sits there for a day or two. And that 2 day delivery speed still happens....except they didn't send it out right away so it comes on the 10th.

And I've never had luck with same day shipping. Always comes the next day no matter how early I order. You try to talk to customer service and they'll just say "Well, the receipt says it will arrive tomorrow." Yeah, but the fucking cart during checkout literally has a timer counting down how long you have to order for it to arrive today. They don't change the date on you until the order goes through. And then they say it's too late to cancel.

Had a customer service rep offer to refund shipping.

Free shipping.

fucking Amazon.

I called them about a 1-day order somewhat recently that was a day late and the person claimed that it's little known fact that 1-day shipping is after it ships. Little known to their website too I guess.

And since I'm bitching about stuff...How come the Target within walking distance from me always charges more for stuff? Maybe they think people won't notice but with sites like Brickseek I can see it right away. Lots of things being sold at 10-20% higher than other stores.

I need to buy detergent and it costs $3 more than the website. And they won't offer store pickup or shipping to get the online price without having to bug customer service. And if you order online you can't combine it with Cartwheel offers.

 
In 3 days at this time I'm going to be soooo trashed. I don't remember getting home last time I went to a beer festival. Should be fun, though. Any suggestions for a must-drink based on this brewery list?

Turns out the "pie" that Adam Jones smashed into Wieter's face after their walk-off win on Monday was actually cake. So technically Jones didn't break the dumb new no-pies-in-the-face rule.

They will but he said he didn't want to bug customer service--which is where you have to go for all price matching. And then you have to hope they won't give you trouble about Cartwheel + PM.

Just had got a random call from some chick (?) claiming I sent lewd videos/messages to their boyfriend over facebook.
 

1) why use facebook when snapchat exists?

2) lol

3) they didn't even block their number when they called?

4) time to figure out which of my brothers dumb friends has my number 

5) teenagers are dumb

 
Saw they had Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition pre-owned on bestbuy.com in stock for $10 so I ordered it yesterday. Said it was backordered and wouldn't ship until late april at the earliest, but I guess it shipped today anyway and should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully it has the original case and stuff

Man, before I started Res Evil with Derek I was looking for my next game to play and almost started this up. I got the digital version when it was last on sale. Probably a close second for my favorite GTA style open world game right behind GTA itself. Though Mad Max is right up there too.

I hope Avalanche fixes Just Cause 3 soon. I never expected that to run worse than Mad Max.

I have said it before, but I really like that Jones guy. Great player, seems nice and doesnt sound stupid (nor is he) like most athletes ether.

We got to an episode in Gotham (late in season 1) last night that had a particular scene involving the use of a spoon. What a gross-out. I could have done without that.

Calfkiller is good, cant remember what I had exactly from them though

Founders - KBS if they have it( highly doubt it) but try whatever they have, founders is great

Good people - ipa is good, definitely try snake handler if they have it (highly doubt it) I like their brown ale too

jackalope - bear walker brown is good

mayday - evil octopus, black ipa, i liked it when I had it on tap at a restaurant, the boro blonde aint bad either.

little harpeth - chicken scratch is a good pilsner, like really good

wiseacre- tiny bomb is a good american ale, their brown ale is good too. been drinking a lot of tiny bomb lately

Skipped sam and new belgium, you should know if you like their stuff or not.

I had a Founders Dry Hopped Pale Ale on our vacation and thought it was decent but nothing great and it's only at 3.5 stars on untappd. I chose unwisely.

 
Might try a KBS tonight, I kinda dont want to though, so im pretty sure im going to love it and then it will just piss me off that its so hard to get.
