PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

My buddy's brother is in town for a couple days for training. He could have stayed at the nicest hotel in Tampa IMO (Grand Hyatt) but instead chose another hotel cause it was within walking distance of the strip clubs.

He is my new best friend.

If you guys are ever in Tampa you should see if you can go eat at Armani's. They have a spectacular view of the bay from the top of the hotel. LOL who am I kidding none of you would spend the money.

Really? That looks pretty reasonable for the type of place it is.

Spada con Granchio e Salsa Andaise 38 Seared swordfish, jumbo lump crab, asparagus, garlic crushed potatoes

That sounds amazing.

Jury duty today. I've been given a summons before, but never actually had to serve.
I loooved jury duty. I had a case about a weird guy threatening to blow up his mom. There was police shoulder cam footage and stuff and a weird story to go with the whole thing. The other jury members were incredibly responsible, reasonable and open to discussing to make sure the guy got the fairest chance possible. It was humbling.

I'm sure if I got stuck with a case regarding child abuse or something I would not have been so plussed but jury duty a+++ would do again.

Its definitely not the most expensive fancy restaurant around but its not cheap either. Yeah its worth it to go for special occasions. And if you go while there are any sporting events or anything else happening in the bay area you will see celebrities and athletes there. Hell, you may spot Jeter there at any time now that he is retired down here.

Sure, but they confiscate your phone so I won't be able to try to trip the like limit during the trial.

That chefs tasting deal is a bit much, but normal food prices are less than I would have guessed.

I always wanted to get picked for jury duty since work would still pay me anyway. I would think being on a jury for something like your case or a murder would be "fun" because its like a mystery to solve.

Rams just traded up to get the #1 overall pick from the Titans for this years and next years first rounders, and two second rounders this year.

who the hell do they think is that good this year? wow. Titans most likely robbed them. 4 top picks from a team most likely going to be bad for two years is a steal. Glad the Titans are in the AFC.

EDIT: Titans are giving up some late rounders too. But still...not sure what the Rams think is a sure fire player this year for the number 1 pick.

Belgium also is no longer selling Vitas. Other countries in EU still are. No comment from Sony about it yet, but sales in Japan and EU have typically been pretty good from reports and from seeing how games are stocked in stores abroad. It's been 2-3 years since the slim model so hopefully the stock levels dropping is in preparation for another version rather than Sony cutting the life support. It'd be really weird for Sony to drop it at this point with the constant stream of games hitting the platform, though.

Jury Duty history:

1) Wrongful termination suit:  Guy suing the sheriff for getting blackballed and fired.  We decided not guilty.  Not because we did not think he got majorly fucked over, but because part of what he had to prove was severe emotional distress.  Apparently that meant manifesting itself physically according to the law.  They did not even get a quack doctor to testify for him.  Overall kind of boring but the deliberation was interesting since one woman wanted to give him something but the rest of us had to talk her out of it.  I was scared shitless when they polled the jury after the decision thinking she would say guilty.

2) Attempted bank robbery:  The highlight of this one was me almost getting the case thrown out because I told the foreperson to use the word brandishing in a question to the judge.  Apparently that is the word used in case law and they thought I had been reading it at night to see what to do because I used that word.  I apologized for actually knowing a 50 cent word and told them the only reason I wasn't a lawyer is because I had no interest in reading case law.  It was surprisingly boring otherwise.

3) The dude right in front of me was the last alternate picked for a rape and incest trial.  Thank jeebus I did not have to sit through that.  I can not even begin to imagine how depressed I would have gotten.

Tyler: For Stories, each row of stories is tied to one of the four game secrets. Once you have unlocked two stories in the same secret row, an unlock icon will show up on the choices screens so that you can see which choice will lead to revealing a new secret. In addition you'll also see a "!" icon for decisions that lead to a new story ending. Once you've revealed all four secrets you'll also get an icon that shows you which choices lead to the true hero ending.

They really did a good job with the whole story management thing, I think. It's very straightforward and clear and makes sure you don't run the risk of accidentally repeating your earlier decisions.

Yeah I don't get it either. Especially after the Rams got all those picks for RG3 a few years back. You'd think they learned from that, especially after Jeff Fisher trolled the Washington Professional Football Club by making all those picks captains when they played.

I'm guessing this is more ownership wanting something to sell to his new LA market and less football related.

Damn the Titans have a fuck ton of picks in the draft now.  Nive overall and seven of them in the first 76 picks.  Assuming that new GM is as good of a talent elevator as he is supposed to be, they could set themselves up for a few years.  Of course Mariotta has to stay healthy and continue to improve too.

Then they have an extra first and 3rd next year too.

ETA:  Pretty sure the Rams want to pick Carson Wentz.  If they didn't jump to get him the Browns would take him at 2.  Is he worth it? Who knows.

Its definitely due to the move to LA. gotta make a big splash.

Wouldnt judge the series based on just that, you should find the collection for cheap and give the first two a shot. I think 3 finally picks up about 1/3 of the way through, dont know for sure as Im still early in it.

Did you ever played the new TR? Its basically a UC knockoff when it comes to the combat and climbing around.
Haven't played new TR yet. I picked it up a few months back, but haven't started it yet.

I guess Wentz was a later bloomer so he was under recruited similar to Ben Roethlisberger.  He was only 5'8 as a freshman in HS and shot up to 6'5!  WOW.  He has quickness and ahtleticism at that size too.  So he could either turn out to be a Big Ben....or an Alex Smith.  Alex Smith is a good QB but just a game manager, not a game breaker like Ben.  So this is a risk.

But its LA baby! Which could also crush a kid who went to a small school in ND!  LA media glare can BURN.

Ok, real deal. a 48 hour Super Earth defend event started last night in Helldivers. This is a pretty rare event that only shows up every couple of months or so. Normally you only have a random, 2.5 hour window to catch a defend event to get the Defender of Humanity trophy. Now you have a generous 40ish hours. All you have to do is successfully complete a bug double XP mission and when the event succeeds (we are ahead right now) then you'll get the trophy.

Super Earth defend events are also some of the best times to level as not only do you get double XP, but the map is a series of streets and alleyways instead of wide open spaces which makes it easy to run away and regroup by breaking line of sight with the enemy. Defend events also have about 30% extra research samples (10 = 1 upgrade point) as compared to normal missions.

If there is even the slightest of chances you think you will one day go for the plat or you just want a free silver trophy, I would highly recommend booting up the game in the next day and a half to complete a defend mission because outside of this event getting the trophy is pretty luck based.

If carson wentz is all you got my question still stands.
Then your going to be waiting forever since thats all anyones got! I hate to do it to a kid, but I am really hoping whoever they do pick bombs and since they gave up a lot of high picks for him the Rams are terrible for 5 years at least. The move back to LA for the NFL will be off to a great start and no one will show up to games again. Just like in the 80s. It will be hilarious.

The second DLC for The Witcher 3 that Therm mentioned might be getting a "physical" edition with two Gwent decks (likely the remaining two themes) like Hearts of Stone did:

Well you can guarantee it is either him or Goff. You do not make a move like that for any position except QB.

Well... unless you are Atlanta and do it for a WR to go along with your QB. I think that was a good move for Atlanta just because every other one of their draft picks has seemed to be terrible. Giving up picks was not that big of a loss when you for the most part have no idea what to do with them.

Am I wrong in thinking that any NBA player who took 50 shots should score at least 60 points?  I am not seeing how big of an accomplishment this is other than his old ass actually being able to play enough minutes to hoist up 50 shots.

Darn it, Owl, I was ready to ignore Helldivers, but your post/essay is making me want to install it to get that trophy.

Also, I saw a clip where they showed some woman and a couple kids at court side.  I assumed that was his wife and kids.  And if so she had a LOT of plastic surgery.   she looked terrible!  She used to be hot too.  I hate when women mess themselves up with surgery on their face and lips.

I've seen a ton of people on my fb timeline talking about how Kobe got them into basketball over the past couple days. Seems weird as fuck to me though with Reggie Miller and Michael Jordan being right in their damn backyards.
