PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I love new ratchet and clank. This game is great. I can play it on easy, the dialog and cut scenes are pretty decent, the gameplay is great and it looks great too. the trophies aren't even wildly dumb.
Yeah, I was just about to comment on how good it is. Definitely a remake/reboot/whatever done right. It's been awhile since I played the original, but it's cool how I sort of remember all these levels/story beats, but the gameplay takes cues from all of the releases made since then. Graphics are great and the card collecting system is cool. Easy pick up for fans of the series at $32 GCU.

I wish I knew how to copy an animated gif out of a tweet. But, anyway, this is awesome!

The more paperless we become the more dumb fuck rules we have and the more bullshit we have to do. Sharepoint sucks SO much. Not user friendly and so many dumb fuck ing buttons to click just to complete paperowrk that used to take 5 minutes.
Sharepoint is the fuck ing worst. My old place had it and they acted like it was amazing. They never trained anyone on it and expected everyone to use it. Every time you needed a form or the simplest fuck ing thing they would be like oh go get it in sharepoint. Go fuck yourself. Awful shit.

I hate long series of roundabouts. I understand they're supposed to make traffic flow better, but jfc, add in construction and a missed exit due to misleading traffic cones, and you may as well die in there. Double roundabouts are the worst.

Man R&C has been getting a lot of praise. Might have to pick that one up soon. It will be my play in front of the kids game after Mega Man 9 (beat the 1st Wily stage last night)...then again...I did just get Shovel Knight and the MM Legacy Collection yesterday. I can't wait until next year when I get another week off and I can take a real Gamecation here and there.

Big Ben. Parliament.

Really not into the achievement/trophy hysteria. I think the only game I ever got 1,000 was Halo 3, and then DLC added more. Pretty close on Siege and The Division, though.

Umm, Ratchet and Clank. Uncharted. Crash Bandicoot.
Sounds like your actually Chewy's brother then. He also has a dumb faced avatar and doesnt like trophies!

On a scale of 1 to threatening to kill someone's entire family just before you tell us how chill you are in the same post, how chill are you?

Probably not helping my case for being here, but the pic is from an old Japanese campaign for Nintendo stuff, Mario Kart DS specifically.

I'll see myself out.

I actually know what it is. You gotta have thick skin around here and handle us talking shit. You only have to go if you want to.

I'm surprised it's that many, honestly. Bought a PS3 for Little Big Planet and barely played anything else on it until about a year ago.

I'm not serious. I know I'm getting crap for being "new" and I'm not really upset about it.

Anyway, viva Sony.

That said, don't tell Jkam you like nintendo. He'll murder your family then say he's chill charge you a 10$ fee for even bringing them up.

Hey now. I like trophies. I just don't quite go as gung ho for them as most here. I was trying for trophies in Shutshimi yesterday. Some of those are fun, but I've got to figure out which items are hats, because I realize now that they way to the party time trophy is to NOT pick another hat. I was wondering about that. So little time to decipher and pick! And I am forgetful so it takes me a while to memorize which ones are good and which are bad.

Can't say I really am a fan. I maybe was a fan ten years ago when I made the avatar pic and it feels weird to change it.

Somewhere in the middle.

Yeah, but you have to do an old-fashioned rebate, and FYI, Newegg's can take upwards of 3 months before you finally see the money.
The mail in rebate terms also say "Not combinable with any other offer," which means they might refuse it too. I really hope mail in rebates aren't making a comeback, I hate them.

Sharepoint is terrible for sure, but we hardly use it here anymore. There's a lot of better options.
We did a demo of it recently and only one person thought it would be useful. I thought it was a mess too. Probably pretty powerful but doesn't seem intuitive. We already have a CRM system people hate and isn't very intuitive.

I've chilled with the Nintendo hate. I'm chill. I even bought Mega Man Legacy Collection on 3DS! Progress! I just hope they don't really screw up Starfox Zero because I'd be all like :bomb:

Vig,

Did Newegg do something bad to you with their rebates? You seem awfully tainted on them or do you just hate waiting for the $$$ back?

Now my real question... How do you get a 0% in Amplitude? They give you like 3 just for starting the game.
Played only the first level in the "campaign" on Hard, or whatever the difficulty was called. Got it through that glitch for free, and played it on PS3. No idea why no trophies. Maybe I only have the demo and not the full game?

lol, YOUR'E doomed
It looked like they polished it up some, but are early reports bad? I'm most concerned about the controls. I don't want to wave around the gamepad like a fuck ing moron. I just hope it's pro controller compatible and I can play it like Starfox 64. Yeah I guess you might be right...

Kind of a cool long read, it's about the people whose job it is to moderate content on sites like youtube, fb, and twitter. TL; DR they see a LOT of awful shit, and it kinda messes up their heads.
Wait, wait, wait. She went to college and majored in art in order to further her dream of becoming a hair stylist? Is there much overlap between those two things?

My only use of sharepoint is as a document repository.  Seems to work fine for what I have used it for that recently.  Admittedly all I am doing is reading docs stored in it.

I am running Office 2016. Which apparently a couple of months ago wasn't fully compatible with Sharepoint Online. Took a couple days to figure out why I couldn't post content. Rolled back to 2013 and it worked fine.

WTF. Your Office 365 portal pushes Office 2016. Works fine otherwise. After it was determined Sharepoint wasn't happening (at least for now) I reinstalled Office 2016.

Like I said I am sure in the right hands of trained IT people and with properly training of the staff it can do some amazing things. Just seems like if you can't or wont make that investment it will a PIA to use.

It can be heavily customized my guess is your IT department (or whoever implemented it) stuck more buttons on the pages.

I kinda glossed over that part. The tech stuff was interesting, not the lady who wanted to be a hair dresser, but didn't just go to cosmetology school.

Same here, but we also have to report some audit stuff that we do each month and its just such a pain in the ass to do it since you have to click so many buttons and hunt and peck to find everything since we have so many teams and items. Everything I did for this monthly process used to be on one excel page so I could quickly see what was done and what wasnt. Now I gotta find each item 10 different times and then click 10 different buttons and fill in the blanks on each. So much more work than it once was.

I almost stopped reading right there. You live in San Francisco (one of the most expensive places in the county), went to college and probably racked up a shit ton of debt all to be a hairdresser?

You would have to live to what 150 to pay off your loans being a hairdresser?

Hey man, if your a good hardresser in a city like San Fran you can make boat loads.  My ex wife went to a woman here that charged her $150 to do her hair every 6 weeks.  And Im sure it would be double that in San Fran.

My cousin married a woman who started as a hairdresser and now has her own salon.  She makes a killing.  We arent talking about a barber shop here.

Just looked up a little more information on it, apparently it reviewed really well in Famitsu. http://nintendoeverything.com/famitsu-review-scores-41216/ maybe it won't actually suck, I was excited about it when it was first announced, but the controls + duck ship kinda put me off of it. Reddit thread makes it sound like the motion controls are still forced though, so I'm not sure how well it'll be reviewed when it hits stateside. https://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/4eukow/famitsu_star_fox_zero_review_score_9989/

You really can make a ton if you're good at it. Especially depending on your specialties and the market you're in. San Fran is a huge market in general, and if she's decent at it, with acceptable pricing, people would go. My only knocks on her are for going to art school first instead of just owning up to what she actually wanted to do. She'd have been a lot better off financially just going to cosmetology school right off the bat.
