I played the first 4 levels and it's ok. Parts of it are like a straight remake of the 64 game, which is awesome. BUT.. it would be 10x better without these fucking gyroscope controls. I'm getting the hang of it so that it's not as much of a detriment as it was initially, but man does it feel shoehorned in. The tower defense game is surprisingly fun, though.

The scampi I made for dinner which seems like such a simple recipe turned out pretty bland. Either I had too many shrimp or not enough spices in there to compensate for the extra shrimp.

Kids ate it alright at least.

 
And God damn it, Sony, I've been all about the "I'll buy your PS2 classics at launch to support us getting more" thing, but you're making it really hard.

Not that anyone gives a damn, but I think that dead star trophy for destroying a capitol ship is only given to the person who fires the last shot on the core. dumb.

Puts to bed the UCC so I can delete it off the ps4.

The trophies on uc3 were more time consuming I think than the first 2 as far as that goes. Way more restrictive on the weapon selection after beating the game so have to play through more areas to get specific weapons to get enough kills. Crushing was easier than 2 though so that helped some. The 3 speed runs in 3 were a joke, super easy to beat the times on those.

Paid 20 for it, feel like i definitely got my monies worth. Really looking forward to uc4 next month.

The story's pretty good so far, about halfway done. Controlling the characters is spotty even in the limited environments, as sometimes they go in the completely opposite direction of what you want them to. I ran into a glitch right off the bat where I got stuck in the floor by a map on the train, bypassed doing that until later and then it was fine. I don't think they ever patched it like the PC and you'll need a guide to get the master detective trophies and to also unlock the extras. There are also some trophies that are glitchy but the guide I am using off of True Achievements has worked fine. It's also kind of funny that when you tell the character to walk into the next room, he'll usually turn around, walk a few steps, turn back around, and then proceed to walking to it.

TL;DR - good story, not so great technically.

Hey, I played it with you! You should cc me!

But that's the same way with getting the last shot on the enemy's base for the Ender of Things trophy.

The contract is for escorting the ship, not killing it. There's a different trophy for that.

Wow, that Lichdom video is amazing. I've no idea how they managed to release it in that state. I'm glad they compared it by including some PC footage as that's what I was expecting from when I'd seen videos from that.

What's funny is that the PC version was just available as part of a $2 bundle within the last week or so.

So I really liked Ratchet and Clank on PS2 but never finished it. Grabbed the HD collection on Vita but had a really tough time playing it due to the controls and badly placed check points.

I got the PS4 game when it came out yesterday and man its so good. Plays real smooth, gorgeous graphics and they've added some cool new equipment / features. 100% recommend it, also that budget price point is awesome!

The controls were pretty rough when I started the first game on Vita, but once you get used to it they're not bad. The only real issues I've had are when on tiny platforms (it's easy to fall off) and in the hoverboard race which is supposed to be hard anyway.

Did you just play the original or did you try 2 and 3 on it at all?

 
Wren you bought that dumb elephant game like a month ago when it was on sale.
Pittsburgh is cool so far. I almost went to college here and didn't realize it. Their soccer team sucks.
