Yeah the exact phrase is "Shu will NOT be cross-buy when it launches later this year, but WILL be launching on PlayStation Plus."

Makes it sounds like a Day 1 PS+ game to me. Looks cool enough. Maybe they mean it will be a Day 1 Vita game, seems a bit small for a Day 1 PS4 game.

I'd not realized how many interviews and dev comments they had.

I just checked your profile to see your progress on Ascendant. Wow, that game is ridiculously obscure. 79 owners and 8% average completion? Not a single person on TT has the plat, either--15 owners there.

Yup. I am going to play through it once maybe check out the MP and trade it back and pick up UC4. Without the cert I probably would have waited for a BF sale.

It's a tough game. It is pretty good, but for a roguelike, it's way too long. A full run would take well over an hour, which kills the desire to replay it over and over. (Compared to Spelunky, where when you're just working on beating the game, a great run will take 20-30 mins max)

I do think it's pretty well crafted, if you're willing to spend enough hours with it, you could probably master it and get all the trophies. I'm just not sure it's fun enough to keep many people hooked that long. Also I had it crash once on me already late in the game, and there is no autosaving so I just lost all my progress. I'll probably keep playing it for now, but I'm sure I'll quit at some point.

 
I was running errands this morning and then watch GOT.

I thought it was a decent episode, couple of things happened like i was expecting, so thats good.

Still playing the far harbor beta, wish I could stream it.

Will crushing on uc4 be unlocked from the start? The originals you had to beat it on a lower level first I think to unlock it, the UCC had that unlocked from the get go.

It appears to be unlocked. Just watched a let's play recorded yesterday and it shows the guy going straight to Crushing.

Also there's a lock-on mode for aiming now which can be toggled on and off. Wasn't aware of that. There's also a slider for how strong the aim-assist is.

I'm surprised how engaging FFX is, even though I've already played through it and all the characters and locations seem familiar.

It's got a good battle system, the story is interesting and moves at a decent clip and the characters are rich and varied.

 
I knew I shouldnt have looked at reviews for Uncharted 4.  All I did was go to metacritic and read the first sentence of a couple reviews and now the hype is real.  I will be rushing through the other 3 games for sure.  Probably on easy.

The puzzles are very tedious, the load times are annoying even for small rooms, and the dialogue is pretty cringe-worthy IMO. But yeah that battle system is great and I really like the sphere grid system.

So just Super Star Wars this week. Passed on Dark Forces PS1 since you can't play it on the vita and decided to pick up the Jedi Knight pack on Steam instead (which includes Dark Forces and its Jedi knight sequels) for not much more.

 
The grind in EDF 2 is definitely real. Complete all the 78 missions for HP upgrades and better weapons so you can survive all 78 missions of the next difficulty, so that you can survive a few high difficulty levels for better gear, to make getting through the 78 missions of the 3rd difficulty easier, and so on. The worst are the Baus (giant jumping spiders), they fire a volley shot of 6 web that constricts your movement and does damage while it touches you which can very quickly kill you on higher difficulties if there are more than a couple of them. I am not looking forward to the mission which is large, underground, vertical, shaft filled filled with about 100 spiders on inferno.

Yeah it's a great deal. If I didn't have the $43 UC price locked in from Amazon from forever ago, I would have got this too.

Though I'm a touch skeptical, cuz that's a really good deal and never heard of AntOnline, though they look like they have great feedback.

Maybe they're the ones who bought all those stolen copies lol

not personal experience, but I've read a lot from the sd crowd about antonline and they seem solid. They often do cheap ps4 bundles by way of eBay. sd is usually pretty strict about letting eBay sellers that suck get upvoted.

Edit - I didn't check if it's a digital copy of uc4 though. Are the ps4 bundles physical copies?

Yeah I didn't lock in shit. Too good to pass up with needing a Plus renewal soon so bought. Due to arrive Monday, so I'll get it a week after you assholes, but that's cool since I still have to finish UC3 and won't having any gaming time this upcoming weekend.

I tried it for a bit on Saturday night and had fun with it. I'm way better at killing fuckers in this than Star Wars Battlefront. Didn't try all the characters but I can see it being a good time. I don't like the 5 miles I had to run to get back to battle after I died though.
