PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.

Both the rename and the actual drinking of said beverage.
I remember friends of mine drinking American Beer when we hung out before Yankees Opening Day.

They changed the lyrics to We're an American Band by Grand Funk Railroad.

Don't think I ever tried it though.

That Little Caesar's stuffed crust ad with the two floating heads bothers me.  Particularly, the white guy with the horrible bowl cut.

Watched Deadpool tonight. It was entertaining. A lot of the best parts were in the trailers. Morena Baccarin was looking mighty fine and I liked her character's banter with Deadpool. I enjoyed it and will definitely watch the sequel. My roommate loved the movie. He would probably give it 5 diamonds.

I wasn't expecting Baccarin's character to be like that at all and I definitely enjoyed it.

Finished all the UC1 trophies except the 3 DLC trophies that require additional playthroughs (Speedrun, Donut, and Brutal.) I can definitely understand some of the complaints about it not aging great. I played Uncharted 1 PS3 less than two years ago and I thought it was more impressive at the time; since then I've played quite a few newer 3rd person games, especially TLOU:R, so the odd smoothness of a game with resolution raised a bit too high for its texture quality, the rushed story, and the somewhat dated controls are a lot more apparent now. Still a fun game, though, and I'll probably get to UC2 pretty soon.

Did anyone say UC1 remastered wasn't good? I know I had issues with the PS3 version. PS4 fixed most of those though, and we talked about that here. My issues were with gunplay and controls, and the remastered version uses the UC2/UC3 mechanics so it fixed whatever issues I had.

Nobody said it wasn't good, but there were a few comments about how it feels a lot more dated than UC2 even in the collection. I took that to mean the control issues in part, especially in regards to climbing and jumping directionality; the game doesn't seem to be that great at understanding which way you want to go in those regards. I've been hoping UC2/UC3 improved upon that, but your mention of using those games' mechanics makes me wonder.

Maybe just don't nitpick and analyze every tiny detail about every game you play just for the sake of telling us about it and just enjoy the parts of the game you do like for what they're worth.

Games are for fun, remember? Not thesis subjects.

I also have fun nitpicking and analyzing games, though. :shame:

Yeah but we don't enjoy when you do.
Then don't read it? The vast majority of the time I put that stuff in a spoilered comment when I finish a game. The only time it's not spoilered is when I barely have anything to say or most people have already played the game. My UC1 comment above was just a few sentences long and was mostly just an agreement with what other people have said in the topic anyway and you certainly had no complaints with other people saying the same kinds of things.

I ended up getting to just about the end of chapter 14 in UC4 last night but finally went to bed around 1. probably will take another 2 nights to finish up?

Bully crashed on me last night after some sound effects (skateboard and drinking soda) disappeared.  Its still really fuzzy looking and the camera is trash.

Terrible game.

#nitpicking

bully has got to be one of those nostalgia goggles games
I'm both interested in and a bit dreading that, Max Payne, and the three GTA PS2 games I picked up. I've never played any of them so nostalgia won't be a factor at all. I don't care too much about graphics but hopefully the gameplay won't feel terribly clunky.

You'll probably hate them all like MGS2.

yeah your going to hate them all with a passion. none of them can stand up on their own. I am looking forward to playing Payne since I loved it when it released. But I remember it feeling a little clunky even then, so its going to be terrible now. But bullet time!
