PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Oh, speaking of tv, has anyone been watching The Night Manager?  The millions of commercials for it that AMC ran during Walking Dead got me interested and it's been really good.

Eureka was very variable in quality as well. I think I didn't even finish the last season, actually. It got pretty rough later on.

How much of the first book does Magicians cover? I checked the synopsis on wiki and it doesn't match what I read of the end of the book.
No idea, I haven't read the books. From passing comments I've seen there are pretty big divergences from the source material. In the last few episodes they
enter Filory and figure out the identity of the Beast, but that conflict isn't resolved.
From an interview it looks like most of book 1 and then moved part of book 2 into this season. It was renewed as well.

While we are talking about SyFy shows, a few people told me 12 Monkeys was good. Are they mistaken? I had thought about going back to watch it on onDemand if possible.
It basically takes the premise and a few of the characters, and then takes it in its own direction separate from the film. I mainly started watching it because it was created by 2 of the people who did the Nikita TV series reboot which I really enjoyed. The first season was very well plotted as the time travel stories always twist in on themselves, though I could certainly see it become increasingly more complicated to manage storywise. The second season hasn't been as good so far, but still enjoyable.

I liked when Syfy had "Ani Monday" to answer Adult Swim's anime block. Aired some Street Fighter anime and some other good stuff (Blackjack, Gurren Lagaan, Perfect Blue).

Nowadays, I might catch it to see Tales from the Darkside, The Twilight Zone, and a movie [not made by Syfy] if it's one I'm interested in.

Minnesota House of Representatives voted again to repeal the ban on Sunday liquor sales at liquor stores yesterday. And again it failed because they want "to protect the little businesses from the big box stores." Which is fucking bullshit because the little stores just don't wanna be open on Sundays. This fucking state.
Protectionism sucks.

Wonder if DOOM will have the same difficulty glitch as Wolfenstein. They left it in for The Old Blood, so maybe. :whistle2:k
Oh, so the Ultra Nightmare trophy is to beat the first level in that mode. Apparently it's pretty damn hard. Somebody on pst.org said on 5/2 that nobody at ID has even beaten UN yet. Also sounds like the difficulty glitch is not present, so I guess you do need to run through the Nightmare campaign as well.

IGN got into the "What's your favorite FF?" game and they lost.

I might play FF2 from the Origins collection. Played FF1 last summer during my termite/tenting episode. The easy mode (increased XP and gold eliminates the need to grind without changing enemy HP/tactics, though spell allotment was boosted to the point that it made mages a little OP) and sprint buttons really kept the game moving.

I only played a bit of FF2 on an NES emulator a dozen or so years ago. If it received the same treatment as FF1, I wouldn't mind playing it.

It's too bad the anniversary versions never hit PSN over here. Bastard EU folks got it, though.

FF1 with SP is a totally different game compared to the original version with the spell slots. That was so much harder. So was the original targeting system where when you plan your attacks, if the enemy dies your subsequent attacks are pointless instead of switching to a remaining enemy.

Agreed. The black mages in NES FF1 were underpowered because of strict limitations on spell usage, which swung in the opposite direction in easy mode in the Origins collection.

The PS1 FF collection games were released on PSN 5+ years ago, weren't they? They were sold individually instead of paired like the physical editions, if I remember correctly. I'd check, but #hoops.

Best seats I've had at the old ballgame.

Hope everybody has a good weekend of gaming. I'm at chapter 7 of Uncharted 4. Like it so far but like Kilik said it is definitely slow to start. Starting to pick up though.

If the MLB speed test is to be trusted then there's definitely a problem with the bandwidth to their servers. The first time I tested it said 2090 Kbps which isn't enough for HD. retests were all over the place but mostly low 2000s. Sucks. I asked in the forums what the IP address is of their servers but not sure if I'll get an answer.

Tyler game one shows why I wanted to play the pens. The lightning have just as much if not more skill top to bottom than they do and they are just as fast.

Lightning lose Ben Bishop in the middle of the game. They don't have all world stamkos and there best pure d man stralman and they still win.

It's just one game though. Looks like Bishop may have broken his leg or ankle so he is likely gone the rest of the playoffs.

Have you tried disabling your firewall to see if that is what is choking the connection?

Just a heads-up; if you miss something in a level you can go back and get it in chapter select and then exit to the menu as soon as you've gotten what you were missing. Even though the game warns you about losing unsaved progress the collectible/challenge is saved anyway.

I did that in chapter 3 for the below challenge:

In chapter 3 one of the challenges is to do 3 Death From Above glory kills against a possessed solider. There's one of those right at the beginning of the map. I missed the challenge so after I finished chapter 3 I exited to the main menu, went back into chapter 3 under chapter select, then climbed a rail near the solider to perform the glory kill. Once he was dead I reloaded the checkpoint and repeated it twice. The challenge completed, I got the weapon upgrade, and I exited to the main menu. When I checked the chapter again in chapter select it showed everything as being completed.

I thought I was shitty at FPS.
I suck at FPS but DOOM's normal setting is pretty easy. I don't think I've died yet to an enemy and I've completed the first 3/13 chapters. I've had a few falling or environmental deaths so far and twice I blew myself up. Enemies are very easy to glory kill which gives you an instant health boost, so even though they've gotten me close I've never died to one yet.

The classic maps are great, btw. Enjoying the music as well. I'm not running through the game like the earlier footage since I'm trying to get all the collectibles in one run, but it's still really good despite the slower pace.

Any good looking milfs?
yeah tons of course. one latina milf got up to go to the bathroom or something and I was on the end so I stood up and moved into the aisle so she could get out. When she came back I was about to do the same and she said don't worry she could make it with me sitting. She proceeded to tip toe between my legs and grope my arm to "keep her balance".

We all know she wanted the d.

There's some vulnerability in the 3DS version of Citizens of Earth that lets you hack the 3DS. Atlus pulled it but supposedly if you still have a unredeemed Humble code you can download it. Edit - verified it worked as I had one.

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2016/05/citizens_of_earth_pulled_from_3ds_eshop_following_exploit_discovery
Doesn't look like this vulnerability works by itself. You need to have previously installed an exploit to use the Citizens of Earth one.

Still downloaded it.
