PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Gamesharing experts: I logged in with the account on PS4 and started the download. When I switched to my account, the game icon had the lock on it. So I switched back to the GS account and went to activate my PS4 as the primary on the account, but it wouldn't let me and said it was the primary on another system already. This means whoever rented it last never deactivated, right?
Yep. You'll have to get them to deactivate or phantom them out.

UC4 Crushing done.  Chapter 20 wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, just took a few tries and smart shooting.  Should have the plat by tomorrow after I wrap up the MP portion.

When you unlock the dude with the shotgun and fast executions, it's awesome. I ran around sliding and executing 90% of the bad guys. I think his name is Mike.
Yeah, I made it through the first 7 levels with all the objectives so far. I'm still like 5 points short for mike right now though. Got stuck on level 8 trying to get to the reporters.

Uh-huh, "not as bad" with cheats active. That chapter was a beast on legit Crushing; it felt so good to finally finish that off today.

I plan on going for speed-run, 70% accuracy, and the rest of the collectibles in one more Explorer playthrough with infinite ammo + Barok active, plus...

Slow Motion, which I verified also slows down the game clock--everyone sounds incredibly drunk and all of the dialog sounds hilarious now

If I had younger siblings who used the system I would probably take the disc out every time in case they ever tried to jam a disc in there when there was already one in there. Also to make sure they wouldn't take the game out to put another one in and then not put it away properly or in the wrong case.
I used to let my nephew watch DVDs on my PS2. One day he decided to switch discs while I was in another room. Instead of ejecting the first disc he shoved another one in there and they both got stuck. Then he proceeded to pull the tray entirely out. This is how my PS2 disc tray was ruined and why I stopped playing it.

I was checking out how Sony was giving out the Powers comic. There's something new calls Docs for PlayStation.

Docs for PlayStation® is a new digital platform developed exclusively for PlayStation® that delivers a unique way for users to access their documentation. Game manuals, strategy guides, art books, comics, and more can now be accessed and viewed in a dynamic, digital format via console, mobile, tablets and web at https://docs.playstation.com.
Sounds like a cool idea. I know most Games on Demand on Xbox have a digital manual that you can download to your computer from the store page.

I never knew that. I just google whatever I need to know though and almost always find a decent video or write up. I will have to look for these manuals you speak of though.

Yeah, I had this issue when my kids took it upon themselves to eject FO4 to put in Disney Infinity. They remembered real quick where they were in the pecking order around here... don't touch daddy's toys.

I'm on chapter 12 of uncharted 4 and I've liked it just ok. But for my money that chase scene from e3 in chapter 11 is the best action sequence in a video game.

Ill buy them for sure, loved both of them.

Origins wasnt made by rocksteady so can see why its left out, plus it was never viewed as good as the first two. Cant say myself since I never played it.

Worst part of the game so far for me, slow as fuck start. Even worse than the slow start to uc3 I think.
Yeah, it was a little ridiculous. As I recall I made it to chapter 6 or 7 and had only had like 2 gun fights. I'd have been more annoyed if the story wasn't as well done as it was. Been awhile since I played 3, but that one felt slower to me even though I'm sure it was actually less time to get to the platforming/shooting loop.

Despite not being as good combat-wise and having shoehorned-in multiplayer, Origins had a better-written story.

Will most likely be close to that come black friday.
Doubt it will drop that fast in 4 or 5 months. Not like we don't all have a crap ton of games to play. I can wait. Really mostly interested in Asylum anyway. City was my last favorite of the trillogy. Just something about the environment didn't grab me like Asylum. Even with too much of the BatTank in Arkham Knight I liked it a lot more then City.

I played at least 3 different versions of Asylum.

Funny how in some games we get annoyed by slow starts, limited action, too much story and then in other games really enjoy the story.

Someone here asked me about the story in Doom.  I was like I didn't pay attention much and just wanted to shoot demons.  Now I am playing UC4 (only an hour in) and I am enjoying the story even though I have only had one gun fight so far.  Granted it sounds like I have a couple more hours/chapters before I get to the real action.  Maybe by then I will be cursing at the game to get on with it.

I know Tyler hates point and click type Adventure games like the Telltale ones.  But many of us have played most if not all of them.  Some of them on PS3/Vita and PS4 just for the easy plats and actually enjoyed some of the stories well enough.

I picked up Halo MCC.  I want to play through the games (I played 3, 4 and Reach on 360).  I don't care too much about the story I just want to shoot aliens.  But there is all sort of stories and stuff for those really into this series.

UC3 definitely had a slower start. UC4 is slow till like chapter 6 but honestly it needed to be...after the way they ended 3 it just wouldn't have made sense to start with Drake already on another hunt. Needed some time to set up for it.

Well, it's $20 for AA and AC GOTY editions at GS right now so $30 for the PS4 upgrades does seem a bit low, I guess. Still an easy pass at $50, though.

I played the airplane sequence in UC3 last night and it shot right up to the top of my list. That shit was bonkers. Loved it all.

And happy I could provide curious entertainment for those tuning in to my stream last night to see my legendary UC suck as foretold in the IA stream.
