PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Scott Pilgrim Funkos incoming. Based on the movie, not the books:

I think they could have done way better with the Scott one. Like give him his sword or better known T-shirt or something besides the stupid solo cup and drawing.
Yeah there's nothing about it that really identifies him as Scott Pilgrim. Kinda pointless.

This morning, the university where I work held an employee appreciation ceremony-thing with awards, and the president told us we can all go home early.

I love my job.

I hope that batman collection sells like shit to hopefully encourage lower starting prices for future remasters.

(Looking at you, BioShock...)

As much as I hate to say it, assuming BioShock contains all three games it will at least be $50... wouldn't be surprised at $60 either considering it's popularity.

But at least that's for three games, not two like the Batman collection.

And I think the DLC/extra shit was more meaty than Batmans?

street fighter 5 may have been a sales failure, but I've been playing pretty much all morning and haven't had to wait more than 30s for a match and I've yet to run in to the same person twice.

yeah i cant let it go.

Clearly we all have different thoughts on what constitutes water in our ears.  When you shower you all have to get some water in your ears.  Unless you dont wash your hair and/or head, then your just gross (especially dudes, I know women can wait a day or two possibly).   When Tyler and I say we have water in our ears it isnt like when you go swimming and you can actually feel it rolling around in there.  Its just a splash, mostly on the outside of the inner ear.  Using a q tip to get the water out is just a side effect of what we really like.  It just feels good to do it.  Getting the slight amount of water out is a bonus added on.

water gone

Any of y'all comic nerds read Saga?  I just finished the first two chapters/issues of the first book and damn that shit is good.  Art.  Story.  World.  Everything.

So the q-tips aren't necessary since you don't feel the water in there, you do it because it feels good? Based on the big hole in your ear, I'm gonna take the same stance I do on autoerotique asphyxiation: I'm sure it feels nice, but it's not worth the risk to me.

Attending a lame online course for work and they had one of those ice breaker questions at the beginning. Can anyone help me with the answer to this???

I use Q-tips after every shower.  If I don't my ear feels weird.  Like Wren said, the natural effect of washing your hair/head is that some water is gonna trickle or splash in your ears.  Especially if you have to rinse shaving cream off of them.  I just cruise the outer part and a smidge inside and blamo.

Y'all some weird bastards (me included).

It took 30 years of doing it every day and then I did something dumb. Shit happens I guess.

Pretty sure it's Gone with the Wind
Yeah, it is. I didn't convey my sarcasm well enough. I just brought it up because I know we talked about it when Star Wars was breaking all kinds of records. Some debbie downer came along and said "yeah well it still has a long way to go if it's gonna beat gone with the wind, yadda yadda"

And yeah, I ended up bringing my ps4 with me and I'll let it travel to Portland with the car. I knew I'd have a lot of downtime while I'm waiting to leave.

Always have a spotter

Maybe it's because you strip your ears with q-tips so often that it is easier for water to run deep in there or something? Very rarely do I get the "sloshy water trapped in the ear" thing, but when I do it's usually enough to tip to the side and press my palm up against my ear and then rip it off to create enough suction to clear it.

Don't you have students that get super pissy when your student service desks are closed randomly like that? Maybe you don't work in a customer service area so you don't see it, but whenever a major student services department shuts down for even a couple hours for a staff meeting, people get pissy that they're not around to help.

Who cares?

$20 per remaster is a fair price, IMO. I think Batman is pushing it at $50 for two games, especially since they've already turned a few off by leaving one of the games out.

Capcom has had a lot of success at the $20 price point for the Resident Evil remakes (especially the early ones), which probably take even more work since they're being ported from older code with more dated assets.

fucking nuts to think Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs remakes launched at $60 by themselves. Square was just smart enough to release those right at the beginning of the console cycle when everyone was starved for retail new-gen games. No way would they get away with that now.

If it is all 3 Bioshocks I guarantee it will be $60. Which I still think is a fair price at $20/remake. I'll still wait for it to hit $20 like I did with Uncharted, but that's just cuz I've played them all, and actually could still play the PS3 version of Bioshock 1 for trophies if I wanted to replay it since my original playthrough was on 360.

About to plat Bully finally.  Start on Uncharted 1-3 or wait for homefront to arrive.

Side note:  Mild now knows my real name.  Should I be worried?

Also, I hate to admit it when that hipster Cainiac is right but this stuff is prety damn good for zero calorie.  Especially mixed with vodka...

Practically all of the students are gone now--graduation was last Sunday and we're technically on summer break, hence the shorter work hours. Also, I don't think summer classes have started yet.
