Does Amazon not do pre-order release day shipping on all games anymore for Prime?! Since I lost that fucking contest (as I have every other one in history) I actually had to pay for this new Turtles game I had preordered but it's saying it's coming on Thursday instead of Tuesday and Mafia III is saying it won't come until a few days after it comes out in October. I checked the new CoD game listing just to see if it would do the same but it says release day shipping with Prime. Do they just guarantee release day shipping on the big, more popular titles? I haven't gotten a preorder game from them in over two years so I was just curious if this has been like this for a while. 

 
I did actually get hit by someone texting and driving. Broke my leg, got 4 months off work and that a sweet insurance check that paid off my student loans, let me buy a car with cash, and put a down payment on my house. And the only downside is now I have a metal plate in my leg and it hurts a little when it rains.

Disregard, didnt realize the turtles game comes out next week.

Do what vig does, get on amazon chat and complain and get some money off.

Yeah, the shit is fucked up. I'd have just gotten it at Best Buy but I'm being lazy and had $40 in Amazon credit to use making the game $2. Still annoying, I wanted to play it as soon as possible.

 
I can still get free release date shipping on weird stuff like fire emblem x megami tensei, but it's not applying on overwatch or turtles. Isn't it just because they only have a day or two to ship those ones to you now?

Unfortunately, I don't think Amazon guarantees release day shipping on every release; however, you might get an email over the weekend saying that your copy of TMNT now qualifies for it, and I expect Mafia III to get it closer to October.

Mirror's Edge: Catalyst and Odin Sphere Leifthrasir both offer free release day shipping (6/7.) Atelier Sophie, The Technomancer, and Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator don't offer release day at all (6/7.) I checked a handful of other niche games and they didn't have release day, but Force Awakens and Battlefield 1 do. It may be around a 10 or 14-day window that it triggers the free release day delivery option, and only for more popular titles.

The GoHastings sale is why I mentioned disc-only on PSN earlier, I was trying to find if there were any good deals on games not on PSN. Figured out how to get the damn disc-only flag to work just a bit ago; apparently also checking PS3 somehow combines the disc-only list and the PS3 list instead of using the two conditions to get a smaller list (disc only returns PSP games as well.)
