Are you using a work computer? I know on my work laptop I can't change the default browser because my company has it locked down to always go back to IE.

Psychonauts (PS2 -> PS4) was listed as coming out this week on the drop, but they removed it. I'm guessing we can expect it soon, though.
 
Playing dungeons 2 some more, it seems like the campaign is one long tutorial. Each mission introduces you to new features and upgrades. While I'm enjoying it enough, definitely wasn't worth full price. Had to look to steam's forums for info, controls are clunky, and it's just average overall. Seems to be a fairly short campaign, and possibly easy trophy list at least. I haven't looked too deep, but missions are handing out silvers and golds.

Nah it's my personal one. I go to the settings and choose Chrome, and it closes as if it saves, but it doesn't actually save my choice. It's really odd.

It feels like no matter how many PS3 games I finish, I still have way too many to play. I really wish PS4 had the ability to play digital PS3 games. Then I could just have all my stuff on one console.
 
I finally bit on Arc the Lad and both Dark Clouds from this week's sale. I got a $10 PSN code from Amazon (thank you, No-Rush credits), so I basically paid $12.50 for all three.

You can check under Device Manager, find Audio Inputs and Outputs, right click on the Realtek speakers, select Properties, see how old it is, and if you need to update it. I'm running 10.0.10586.0 from Oct 2015. I have a Dell and use their website to figure out what updates to install. http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Products/?app=drivers I checked earlier and the audio driver was the latest.

If you have another PC brand, they should have a similar tool. You may also want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.

Dangerous Golf is pretty fun, but it badly needs some kind of tutorial or better menus or something. There's a how to play thing buried in the settings but nothing else besides a control diagram on loading screens. Only aiming is via right stick horizontal camera rotation, so not terribly precise. And no power meter. Strangest thing though is the trophies pop like 5 minutes after you actually earn them. It's really weird.

Anyway I can see how it'll be really cool to play co-op online and couch. I can see how there's tons of content, but maybe not worth $20 right away.
 
PSN Download speeds are just unacceptably slow. Wanted to download Media Player so I could put an image on my PS4 as the finishing touches to a Fenix Furia video before going to be. Been waiting about 10 mins and it has downloaded 33 of the 79 MBs. Pathetic, im just going to bed.

I had a nice day at the pool which helped beat the heat for a bit. In between swimming sessions I started up Taco Master and have the last 4 levels in Tropical Fury left. Hopefully I can get the plat later today. I'm not looking forward to the last level. This current one is giving me some trouble already.

I apparently have today and tomorrow off. No clue why I requested them. And I didn't even know until I went to log in for work. That's one of the joys of having to book all your time off during a two day period in December.

Yeah, it's alright. It's no Burnout crash mode. I also don't 100% know what's going on. The putting aspect of it is so wonky/weird and your score hinges on making it on that part. Load times on restart are long/annoying. It does look nice, though. Even though it does look to have a decent amount of content, I think it'll be a tough sell for most at $20.

It almost seems like some kind of tech demo for a new engine or something that the devs/company had way too much fun with, so they decided to turn it into a quick game with a golf motif. And since just a tech demo, there wasn't much budget for much else so the menus and navigation and in-game help are at a minimum.

Lets give them the benefit of the doubt. They are too busy remaking Burnout Paradise or another Burnout to give this shitty golf game menus and tutorials!

I've never actually played XII but I've been looking forward to the HD release to give it a try. Hopefully it'll be almost as good as FFIV, which is the best in the series by far.
