Can't recall if anybody in here has played it. If so, how is it as a solo experience? Watched a bit of gameplay and this dude transformed into a werewolf, then later on used a hook shot kinda deal and then rode a bear and started going at people with an axe. Definitely wouldn't be going for the plat but looks like the combat is decent.

Gone Home installed, finished, and uninstalled this morning.
Going for the trophy "Wet Bandit" (sweet reference, of course I'm going to get that trophy) ultimately set me on a path to go for the 100%
Heavy spoilers
Wasn't bad, but I already knew where the story was going since it was talked about in here. Even if I didn't already know it seems like it would have been pretty obvious early on anyhow. Even though I already knew where the story was going it was still satisfying to some extent... when I found her sexual reproductive system assignment I thought it was pretty cleverly written. Overall though I didn't feel like there was a whole lot for me to take from the game but I was glad to see the happy ending. Just from what I've gathered from a few gay friends, being a homosexual is complete hell when you haven't come out yet to friends and family. Fear of being judged, being disowned... wondering which of those close to you will turn their backs on you. The game does an okay job of getting this across with subtle references and small pieces of evidence you find but ultimately still feels pretty shallow. Not the worst 2-3 hours I've spent with a game by far, but to make a lasting impression the story would have had to completely blow me away when considering the complete lack of gameplay.

the worst parts of the like some of the races and the minefields were thankfully pretty quick. Glad I just powered through tgose as the camp's were the definitely the longest part. Well that and oulling down those tower things. But that was easy. The driving sucked at first but once you got used to it it wasnt bad.
I did ok with the driving but I am sure it will take me a while to get decent with it again. I won a few races as needed but haven't messed around with most of the optional races too much.
Yeah, I started the first RE last weekend and put maybe 1-2 hours in; I'm not sure if I made enough progress to say for sure (since it's my first time playing it and I really want to take my time), but I didn't experience longer-than-expected load times or janky cutscene skips.
Thanks, I messed around with the disc more and it's definitely ed. I can't get through the opening cutscene without serious freezes and skips. Disc looks spotless so they must have resurfaced some of the data off the disk (got it from gamefly)
Valley hits PS4 this summer. Some kind of 3d runner/platformer with sci-fi elements (power suit with magnet boots or something) and an ability to create trees and animals and the like.

Like I said, not my pick, but I absolutely do have the Simpsons Homer head, I actually have the head cases for seasons 6-10, so the entire family. They definitely don't stand on shelves nearly as well, but I still think they're damn cool.
I kinda stopped going with the 3D heads as much after season 10 though. Not so much because I didn't like them, but because they were getting more limited and seemed to only be on some of the first run prints. Basically meaning I'd have to buy them near launch for $30-$40, which definitely wasn't happening in some of the later seasons.
I think I have the Krusty and Kang/Kodos seasons with the 3D boxes still. They're cool.
It's funny how much stuff in that pic I do have. Besides the simpsons DVDs, I also have the chappelle show DVDs and randomly the two futurama funkos which are visible (Robot Devil and Blue Zoidberg) are the only two I own.
Can't go wrong with eso if you're an elder scrolls fan. Majority of the game can be done solo fairly easily. Normal dungeons are easy with randoms as well. Without a competent group, you'll only be missing out on veteran dungeons, craglorn, and trials(raids). They're also about to release their fourth dlc next week(3rd singleplayer).
Bought it at launch and they people I played ith binged on it so hard and left me in the dust. Traded it like 2 weeks later, didnt even get to try pvp.

I don't have this issue on PSN. It's not super fast, but it's not nearly that slow. I think it's your DSL. Or maybe that was just a dumb estimate and it didn't really take anywhere near that long?

Yeah, I did that to a couple friends. Wasn't on purpose though. If anyone wants to play, I'm willing to help. There are a bunch of other characters I'd like to try out, and I'll only play those with the group.
I had to delete eso cause er takes up like 70+ gb with all the patches and stuff.
Waiting on e3 to find out if they are gonna announce date and price for ps4k and how big the HD is gonna be before I waste the 50-60 plus my time and effort to upgrade current HD to 1tb or more.
I meant playing games. I've no interest in any kind of co-op campaign or games where you play on a team with other people. It's just never appealed to me. Probably the closest I've gotten to gaming with other people is L4D2 and that was just the team vs team mode. Even with PVP FPS if I'm in team stuff (CTF, etc) I ignore everybody else. I like playing at my own pace and not having to worry about what anybody else is doing.
Talking about gaming is an entirely different thing from that.
If you can't play frequently nor for hours and hours on end, I'm just going to get left in the dust by you guys on ESO, right, and not be able to stick with the group? Or can people come and go without issue?
If I was going to San Diego Comic Con, I'd definitely put in an order for this wrestling figure. They absolutely mailed his botched debut entrance in the packaging.
It's one of the most classic botched moments in wrestling.
Walmart is so annoying. Any other job I had, I would just bring in a doctor's note if I needed time off. Walmart has a 20+ page packet that you have to go through. Several forms for you to fill out, and then forms your doctor has to fill out.

Just depends on your group, and how much they want to play. With this not being new, and I imagine not very tiv worthy anymore, shouldn't be a problem for people to take it slower. It's pretty easy to get left behind though.
Well, GF just shipped me RE Origins Collection. Kind of excited about it as it'll be my first RE experience. Hopefully the disc isn't jacked up like Tyler's.
Grand Kingdom LiteDemo still isn't on PSN. EU got it a couple of days ago. Supposedly we'll get it today but no telling what time (or if they won't forget or mess it up since this is PSN.)
Some images have come out of the new Lego Dimentions packs. The most interesting thing to me is what looks like new Story Packs, of which we can see the new Ghostbusters one:
Looks like it comes with just one figure and vehicle, but a new "skin" (for lack of a better word) to put on your portal. That's pretty bad ass if they can do that for other franchises. Reading comment sections it looks like these Story Packs will have 6 levels and go for $50. Hopefully they go on sale as much as the other level packs have.
EDIT: Confirmation on the $50 price and 6-levels and protal skin in a different article on that site:
Things just got spookier in LEGO Dimensions with the all-new Ghostbusters Story Pack! Relive the film and help Abby Yates and her team of Ghostbusters save the world from the mysterious and evil ghost, Rowen, across 6 action-packed levels of gameplay. Equip Abby with her Proton Blaster to activate her Charge Transfer ability to move electricity between conduits, and use her Intelligence Access ability for puzzle-solving. Ride around in the Ecto 1, then rebuild it into the Ectozer and The Perfecto for super-charged power. Customize the LEGO Toy Pad with the Zhu’s Chinese Restaurant gateway build, and unlock a brand new Ghostbusters Adventure World and exclusive Battle Arena.

If those Dimensions packs are all $50 and have multiple levels I wonder if they are going to be "stand alone" games with their own full trophy lists instead of just DLC like the level packs had been.

I actually enjoy co-op gaming. However it seldom seems to work out anymore.
Trying to coordinate time with someone (or a group) can be a PIA. Sometimes when I am looking to play a specfic game my co-op partner wants to play some other game. Haven't finished Saints Row 4 (probably a couple hours from the end) and haven't finished the COG tag collectibles with one friend. He seemingly hasn't been on much but when he is he is playing The Division or Battlefront with his nephew and/or brother on XBone.
Most games/times playing with randoms sucks. They either grab all the loot or do other stupid shit.
Probably why I like Borderlands 2 so much. Unless I am farming for specific loot I don't care about the loot anymore. I have most of what I want and most drops are crap compared to what I have.
But overall co-op is great if you have a partner or two who likes the same games and wants to play it when you do and your schedules work out.

It was a dumb estimate, it downloaded much faster eventually. Sometimes pausterbating works and other times I just put the PS4 in rest mode and it start to download faster. But very regularly it will download in .1 or .2 MB incriminates. So it will go from 5.12 MBs downloaded to 5.24, 5.31, 5.45, etc. I can't believe nobody else has that issue. Generally it downloads about about 2.5 MBs per second (so about 20mbps) when it's actually working.
Not sure why people think it's my DSL. I stream fine, watch other streams fine, stream hulu, netflix, and live entertainment fine. It's not the DSL guys, it's PSN.

Your provider very likely has peering agreements with Hulu and Netflix though. So those would generally work better.
Sony is slower than many other places that have a lot of content being downloaded sure. However, it should not be that much slower for you than everyone else unless it is due to your slow service or even your provider purposefully throttling Sony connections.
