So no PS4 Neo last night right?  Not sure how they will be releasing a console in 5 or 6 months and had nothing to show.  Wonder if this is really a 'finished' product or just a place holder.  Maybe they wanted to see what MS announced with the Scorpio and the specs are very much in a state of flux on the Neo?

Not really. I still think it wont work long term since I dont really believe people will want to wear that helmet over their head for very long. After a play or two people will get tired of it and be done. It will be a novelty that wears off quickly. They dont even want to wear 3d glasses to play games for goodness sakes!

I was just impressed by the games they showed. I may even try playing one or two since I did pre order it. But I am still hoping I can sell it for a profit.

I am pretty burnt out on COD.  I am sure if the new one is actually different enough I will try it but doubt it will be at launch.  

I will look for more Spiderman footage but the little I saw in a recap video wasn't much to go on.  

Also never got into the Resident Evil games for some reason.

98% of the games shown will be 2017 or later. 

And RE games are alright. The older ones, 4 and earlier were all better if you played them back in the day, but they really havent aged that well.

Exactly. This looks fun but I doubt the whole game keeps up that enjoyment.

I'm sure I'll get this at some point to run through the campaign but I can wait for cheap. Did this with AW and BLOPS and it worked out nicely.

No Neo. Keep in mind that they said outright that everything, including VR, will run fine on the base PS4. With that in mind...why throw versions of shit out there? In a few months they'll announce the PS4 Neo officially. It'll have a smaller profile, some upgraded hardware, but it won't be anything you need to buy and it'll be no big deal. The focus stays on the games, where it should be, not on incremental upgrades within a generation.

I think it's a safe bet that the new cod game will have some type of shoehorned stealth sequence. Probably on the outside of a spaceship. Because people liked it that one time in modern warfare so let's keep trying our hardest to recreate it in every game since!

Exploration, item manipulation, and tapes. This seems to show the whole thing though it's only 20 minutes long. I've seen others at ~13m that are also complete. Watched this in the office with all the lights on and no sound. Still creepy as .

Watched the conference this morning while on conference calls at work.  It was not all that long when you skip the part with the 2 idiots at the beginning and end.  Unlike last year, most of the games they showed are ones I would play, so I am relatively happy.  Now just to hope many of those are as fun as they look.

I am a bit disappointed it seems that they spent so many resources on VR games, but you knew they would to try and give it a shot at succeeding.  I agree with Wren the games they showed look way better than the tech demo stuff they showed earlier.  I still have no interest though due to motion sickness concerns.

I don't think they had any previous relationship, other than wanting to do PT, and then wanting to be dicks to konami once they could get around the contracting.

Looks like its probably going to be some survival horror thing that's barely not PT imo.

Umm why if you pay for prime would you ever let your membership run out?

I dont see how that sucks, you need to have prime when you are actually buying it for the discount to apply, makes sense to me.

15 published by Sony but there's a ton in there that are from non-Sony developers. They must really be doing a lot to open the platform up to encourage bringing games to it. Too bad they didn't put this effort into the Vita.
