PSone Combo $49.90 at Meijer YMMV

I've been lurking for a little while now and really appreciate all the great deals and comments made here at CAG. This is a really great community. Well, it turns out that I've finally got something to contribute, so here goes:

I was at Meijer in Kalamazoo, MI today and they had the PSone Combo for $49.90. I don't know when they were marked down, but I do know that as recently as two days ago, they were still at a higher price. (I had actually asked a worker then whether they had been marked down, and he said no.)

Today, the PSones were not behind the glass case, but were actually out with the other clearance toys. Along with the lowest price of $49.90, there is also another clearance sticker that reads $79.90 so it looks like they've been on clearance for at least a little while.

Oh, and while you're there, Duracell batteries AA and AAA 16 pack are on sale for $5.97 (regular price $7.97). SOME have instant coupons on them which allow you to take $3.00 off your final grocery receipt. 16 batteries for $2.97. Bought a few packs. Gotta feed those wireless controllers. :D

Hopefully my parents go to Meijer for me tomarrow, because there's a sale where I buy one game and get the second one half off. The game I wanted did not arrive there last week, so I'm hopping it's there this week. I'll have them check while they are there since they'll probably call my cell before the buy what I want. :) I'm away at college until next weekend, so I can't check myself. :(

I bought my PSone last summer at Sears for $80. I haven't played it a lot, but I love it.

check etoys.com/kbtoys.com, they have them for $49, in stock.

edit... just re-read the original post. are we talking about the psone with lcd screen? if so that 's a great price. the etoys/kbtoys ideal i ref. is just for the console and controller.

Yes, this is for the PSone with the lcd screen.
 
i got to go check that out for the batteries... I hope they dont have them here cause i really dont need 100 battiers (dont ask long story ... Okay last time they had them on sale i went nuts and got 20 packs (they where selling them for like 1.99 for 12 packs)
