i have no close targets, but i have the true holy grail...proof of price. i have a target reciet saying the $37.48 price. this means i can price match at best buy or circuit city, and get 110% of the difference. this drops the price to about $25. i just need to find a bb or cc that actually has one in stock.

I wouldn't mind picking you up one but....the thing is HEAVY! Shipping would absolutely kill the deal.
 
Would love to know if the raincheck/BestBuy thing works...cuz there are BestBuys near me that have MANY MANY MANY of the combo units sitting on the shelf.
 
Because I think $130 is still the MSRP for the screen. Most stores still have the screen for that price (although very few seem to carry it anymore)

Did find a store by me that have 3 in stock, but not at the clearance price. They scanned in at $199! Think you may be right that this has dried up.
 
uh...can anyone please send me the scanned disount reciept also...i need on of these..and also the one on the battery pack...i would be eternally grateful

But would a picture of a receipt hold up at a place like Best Buy or Walmart?
 
A good way to duplicate a reciept is to send it too your self as a fax if you have one of the older thermal printing faxes that dont use ink. Man this is such a great deal, hook me up if this works out. The print out looks just like a reciept and its printed out using the same method.
 
dont most receipts have like watermarks on the back....i think thats only required for returns but someone at bb or any where else may not accept it... i'd be willing to be a test suject if i could get my hands on one...
 
well went to a shiiteload of stores and couldnt get it. the retard BB employee i dealt wit seemed to think that all targets in existence shared the same stock, pretty much by using a space-time differential. since the target right there didnt have ti, every other target in existence obviously wouldnt either. i did get the 5 dollar battery pact at compusa, but w/o the bundle, its a moot point.
 
I've been searching SoCal high and low for that PSOne Combo. From the depths of San Diego to as high as Santa Barbara. While I didn't find one at Target, I did find one at the Virgin Megastore on Sunset. I picked it up for $50 + tax. It was 50% off from it's original price of $149.99 + I had a coupon of $25 off $100. It's not as good as the Target deal, but it's better than nothing. Can anyone tell me where I can find the carrying case for the PSOne. Thanks!
 
I got my PSone from my cuzin on the 7th. I also picked up a battery pack from compUSA that day for 3.99. I just never bothered to post.

I'm pretty sure this clearance is DEAD now, as it has been a month...

I picked up someone's receipt and I'm not sure if it will work...it says Sony Acc and nowhere on it does it have the ISBN/SKU number that appears on the box. So taking it to another store might not do any good.

It was a target in Antioch, CA I got the last one. The Seal was broken but all the contents looked like they had never been messed with and it works great.
 
BLOODY BLOODY HELL! does anyone know media plays price match poilcy? i was trying to pm it there, but the guy said it was too low. i want it definitively so they cant screw me.
 
Anyone want to check out other stores and see what they are selling the combo and just the screen for?
 
I sent my receipt to loserboy and have no clue which Target store had those three I mentioned. Would love to find out if the receipt works for anyone.

My local Sears has 3 of the combos and a few screens. The screens were marked $129. I had to laugh.
 
I saw some combos at Toys R Us for 150, the Screens for 130, and the Console itself for 50 still. Well not the items themselves they just had the tags to get them and still had quite a few.
 
Got your receipt and have yet to try it for reason previously mentioned. Nowhere on receipt does it have ISBN/UPC code and title of item purchased is Sony Acc...which could be any Sony Accessory...am planning on trying it regardless, just haven't had decent opportunity.

Did have them scan screen, combo and PSOne at 2 different Toys 'R Us (one in Indiana, another in Mansfield, Ohio) stores...still full price.
