I was recently in the same situation as you. Check the pricegrabber search. a 1gb can be had for 10-15 almost anywhere. I lucked out and got a 4gb off ebay for 35 shipped.

Dealextreme.com has it for $16.99 shipped. I don't know if it's official but you can't beat the price. Great service and there fast considering it's shipped from overseas.
