I see that I can get a new one from an Amazon vendor for $150. Is that a good deal or will Sony start making a new batch since the Vita is dead?

Note, I'm just interested in buying one as a backup to my current PSP 3000, since there won't be any way to play my UMDs if it dies.

Vita is dead so PSP will come back. Makes sense.

Get a used one from craigslist for around $50 bucks. Probably get one on ebay for around the same price.
