I thoughtthe idea with lithium ion batteries was that you have to charge the battery fully before using it, not empty it.
Okay this seemed to answer my questions.

Basicaly for any Lithum Ion battery it's best to charge and completly empty your battery a couple of times befor it truly hits it's stride. You also have to make doubly sure you've charged your battery for a little longer than when it really says it's done charging.
