PSP Deals at Amazon: Chili Con Carnage - $10 and more [DEAD]

Oh man. The PSP has been KILLING my wallet, and I've been wanting to play that game even back on PS2/Xbox. Gonna look at some reviews first, though.

I never have problems finding filler at amazon. There are tons of stuff on my wishlist. You can also order mundane things like toothpaste or deorderant in bulk that will be good in the long run.

I just finished this game (19.99 @ Circuit City). It was a lot of fun. Over the top action with some quality comedy to it, if you're into racial stereotyping. I highly recommend it.

Nevermind.. Ordered some body wash (cheaper than in store) that I'm nearly out of and got free shipping ;) Never ordered grocery type stuff online before. Let's hope the bottles don't break or anything.

YEAH!!!! This game is awesome, I own it. It is pretty funny, For that price it is worth it to get it. I would totally reccomend this game.:D:D:D

Good deal! I grabbed it at CC a little while back for $20 and played the hell out of it on a business trip. Nice "bite size" missions/challenges, fast paced gameplay, and some very funny (albeit not very PC) dialog.

It's much better than Total Overdose...which, admittedly, isn't saying a lot...but's it's definitely worth $14.

BB had this game for $20 or $15 after coupon.... i Really wanted to jump on Amazon deal but the GC Karaoke Revolution deal is DEAL. Arghhh.... I hated it.
I picked up this and the last copy of Marvel Trading Card Game. That's 16.99. They also have one copy of Metal Gear Acid 2 left for $10
Darn you for getting the last Marvel TCG! Now I don't have any filler!

When I bought it last night, it said there was only one copy left. But it looks liek Amazon lied because it also says it's in stock.

The reviews on Gamespot were wierd. They gave it a 6.5, which is fair. But They said it was a very good game with a nice online tournament mode on the PSP in the review. If anything, they said it was so rich and detailed that the problem was the tutorials didn't fully explain how to play.

They also said the DS version was probably slightly easier to navigate. But that it had problems with its online component because you had to go through the Nintendo code swapping system to actually play anybody.

Grabbed Chili Con Carnage and a UMD holder (along with Trading Places on DVD for $7.99 filler). I had Chili on my Goozex request list, but For $14 I think I'll bite. Good timing too as I think I'm finally done with Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters (which I highly recommend).

at first I was thinking about getting Chili Con but I was like

$14? Do I really need to spend that.

Then I went by Amazon.com again and see that they dropped the price to the 'gotta-get-it' price of $9.99!

Agreed. I got this game when it was $19.99 from CC and it was great fun. I think of it in a similar vein as Pursuit Force - and definitely how the ground missions should have been in that game. At $9.99, if you've been on the fence, jump in now!

got

We'll have to play each other slidecage once we get it. It's supposed to have a good multiplayer.

I ordered Chili Con Carnage last night at $13.99, so I emailed amazon about getting a refund for the difference. The thread title should be updated to show the $9.99 price.

Edit: Sorry, didn't see the separate thread for DS...

Dont forget the DS love...

All $14.99

Custom Robo
Children of Mana
Diddy Kong Racing
Wario Master of Disguise
Nintendogs Dalmatian

I've been thinking about picking up the Playgear Pocket. Can anyone here tell me their impressions of it, like how well it functions as a case, whether the customization of it is worth it, etc.?

gotta email amazon about that refund. Will it matter for free shipping?
gotta email amazon about that refund. Will it matter for free shipping?
Shouldn't.

I find it much faster to have them call you and just do it over the phone. The refund appears instantly on your order and like 2-3 days on the card.

Wow...I just emailed them. Its late here on the west coast so I figured there was no customer service right now. I bought some other stuff so I'm not worry about the free shipping anyways.

sweet! Just called and got them to refund the $4. I was afraid that would cancel the free shipping but the rep on the phone assured me it would not :)

Thanks!

For all you cats that ordered Chili Con Carnage, after you play the game don't forget to get that $5 rebate from Pricegrabber. Now the game will be $4.99!

Alright, I bit on Chili Con Carnage. No idea why cause I already have a massive PSP and 360 backlog, but whatever. For $5 after PriceGrabber, why not?

Chili con carnage is one of my favorite PSP games; at $10 it's a steal. One difficulty I have is obtaining more than just the bronze medals. I'll have say, a 52X combo, but it's not enough for the top tiers.
