yup, just got back from my local Gamestop where those two games (effing Gurumin- WTF?!?), which I haven't been able to find online sub-30-ish bucks (w/o using GCH) @ GH-pricing. Is there a universal price-drop coming? Suffice it to say, I bit- on both.

They've done more games than that. Gungrave OD, for example. I don't think they're "rare" in the collector's sense, but they're not just floating around like some titles are.

They also brought over Space Raiders for the GameCube.

Anyway, ordered a copy of Gurumin. I've been wanting to pick that up for a while now; it looks really nice. :) The music I've heard is great as well, and I like the look of it a lot.

I also want to support Mastiff for actually picking up a quality game for the PSP and bringing it over, because there are a lot of really good looking PSP games that don't seem to be making their way over (though buying this now after it's already dropped in price doesn't exactly send the right message to them..).

I was thinking of RPG but you are right about the other games. Mastiff hired good voice actors that did great job in the games i played
their only other game, la purcell is fairly common
Mastiff also did the Gamecube re-release of Top Gun. You're right about La Pucelle being common as dirt though. They even had to do a few price cuts on that one, and how often does that happen with RPG's?
Sweet, saved me a trip! I found the last sealed one on Homestead in SJ.
Glad I could help. I believe you helped me out getting a hold of Metroid Pinball last year from the $9 CC sale.

They must have changed the sticker right after I was there the other day. Went back yesterday and picked up Gurumin for $20... thanks very much OP, I've been wanting it since before I evev knew they were putting out a PSP version (saw the PC version on Falcom's website ages ago and thought it looked great).

And the US releases of Pump It Up Exceed...

good deals, GS sometimes does price drops like these int heir online store without notification. it's not new

Yay, procrastination ftw!

I kept putting off buying this game, just cuz I was catching up on my back-log of PSP games ;O

Guess I'm hittin' EB/GS today
This probably been asked before, but is the used price 17.99?

Thanks sirs.
I can confirm that both of these have a used price of $17.99 since I picked them up yesterday.

man seems gurumin is going to have to wait even longer now. I was able to find legend of heroes 3 song of ?? at pawn for 10 WOO ....

eh?

Picked up Gurumin, tag price still said $39.99 but scanned for $19.99

The cashier was hittin' on some lady who brought in her PSP for I dunno what. Apparently there was a 4-digit code that needed to be entered before using it (Parental Control), so the guy was joking that she had porn inside and didn't want them to see it. I stuck around til' they were done then made my purchase.

While I was browsing, this kid walks in, starts saying the name of games he's looking at loudly, goes up to cashier and says "Did you know EB Games became GameStop?"
Cashier looks at him and says "Yea, that's what the store sign outside says", then the kid leaves. I had a good laugh over that one.

WTF? And he didn't knock over a magazine rack as he left? That's weak sauce.

Haha, I didn't even bother to watch him. I was just staring at some games as I listened to him, trying to keep a straight face.

Thanks, picked up Gurumin. I had read some ood reviews but never thought I'd get it so cheap so soon.

Was tempted to get Puzzle World as well, but I just got Puzzle Quest last week and am planning on just getting Puzzle Fighter on XBLA soon enough.
