1GB ROM? WTF? What needs to come inside the handheld that requires 1GB of space? You can't rewrite ROM. EEPROM, yeah, but not ROM.

It might be too little too late. I hope not though. But with android and iphone battling it and blackberry in there its a tough market.

They need to come out swinging with a good price point, a lot of third party support, good phone OS with lots of features and some good games if they want this to succeed.

Sony Europe said no such thing. If you actually read the article you posted, you could see that their official response was "We do not comment on rumour and speculation."

Sony Europe was quoted as saying "Sony Europe debunked the images as false?" It's the author's comment that they attach to the image in the article (Another example). Just reading the article shows that the author himself debunked the images as fakes by his own reasoning along with what other sites have noticed.
