you call a 1800 number
tell them your ps2 is "freezing up" and/or whateevr the problem is.
they will take down your info and mail you a prepaid Stamp.
you pack up your ps2 and crap in a box place stamp on it. and go to the post office and get a tracking number (45cents for tracking number)
in 7-14days youll get a BB voucher for whateevr you paid for the ps2 +tax
you can use the voucher to buy anything in the store.

And when you do that, the PRP on it becomes null and void. One-time use only. It covers giving back the replacement cost plus tax of the item, and it's for anything in the store. Basically a gift card, as it's store credit. I'd only do that if it's beyond the 90 days of the warranty.
If it's less than 30 days, take it back to BB and have them ship one in for you. Deal direct with the store manager or operations manager. If they can't find one and it's still within the 30 day period, then just return it. If it's from 31-90 days, deal with Sony and escalate it to a supervisor.
