PSX Suikoden II Used In Stock Gamestop.com

I got my copy of Suikoden I (yes, part I, not part II) today. It was mailed in nearly perfect condition. It's a single cd case though, rather than the double cd case that I've only seen it in before.

Maybe some of you will get lucky with your copies of Suikoden II. Let us know how your copies turn out.. I may order another copy of SII when they're available again.

second there i thought you mean you ordered part 2 and got part 1 i was going to say man i hope that dont happen to me : )
 
well it seems the 2nd order is lost somewhere in backorder nightmare land. I called them thursday and they got it will ship friday. I call the friday and they go it will SHIP MONDAY FOR SURE. I called them today and they go now UMMM there was a error on the webpage and we never had that game in stock. I was like then how did my first order ship and they had no clue
 
When do they actually charge your card though? I'm assuming it's when they actually ship it out, not when you place the order?

That's GS's policy. I tried ordering WoW: Collector's Edition when they had a sudden stock, but they were backordered by the time I ordered. Didn't stop them from charging my card, though.

didnt know about the 20% off code.. and thought BUY 2 would get the AVG down to around 46 each and could just dumped one here for 50 or so

EDIT:: I just called again today and was told that the order was cancelled what is total BS. They refuse to sell me the game for 42 but was more then happy to sell it to me for 50
 
I got my copy today. Disc only. It looks like it may have been disc-doctored, but it's VERY hard to tell. Besides that there are no scratches at all and it's in prime condition. Too bad I didn't get a case or manual though. But I'm still happy it.

what day did they ship it out to you. and what shipping plan did you take

I tried to buy 2 WoW: CE from Amazon during the second shipment. I ordered one with Next Day, the other with Free Ground shipping within about a minute of each other. They send the Next Day but cancelled the Free Ground one.

So, with an item that has more demand than supply, Gamestop can chose to be chosey. Not saying it's right, but that's business.

My order shipped on the 8th ... so that was Friday. I chose the USA Value shipping ... the cheapest and thus slowest one.

I live in TX, which charges shipping, so there's probably some kind of local Gamestop.com HQ nearby or something. I don't know. The return address on the box is Grapevine, TX and that's about 2 hours away from here ... so that could be why it came so quickly.

Hopefully yours will work out slidecage.

yeah um i received mine today (2 one for me and one for my brother since we dont live together) anyway, these are some of the worst game discs I have ever seen. Plenty of scratches (though none really deep), one is a former Family Video rental and it has their stamp covering the entire disc and some of it is peeling (although i believe this could harm the disc if i pull it off) the other is another former rental of some sort since it has a upc sticker on it. I am guessing these are just trade-ins at stores that nobody would buy due to such poor condition they are in (dropping $50 on shitty conditioned playstation 1 games is hard to justify). I haven't tested them yet but first I am gonna contact gamestop and tell them at least one is "broken" and if they have any replacements readily available.

goog luck getting a replacement cause they probally would have to fill all of the orders (backorders) before they even try to find you a replacement. I would just return them i know if mine looks like that they are going right back
 
well previously on cd items i have purchased from them if they dont have a replacement they would just refund me (and told me not to worry about sending back in disc) , also i think I would be in front of backorders seeming that I did place my order before them.

i never heard that before i had to return everything even if they didnt have a replacement (they said send it in and just wait till they get a one in)

When I bought Ridge Racer from gamestop.com and it was messed up they refunded my card and told me I could keep the disc since it was defective.

Same thing happened to me with vagrant story.
 
i just got it today and looks like it was game doctorer or something dont know if im going to keep it or send it back to them im going to try to play it tonight or i might just ebay it

those 9.99 shipping items wasnt mine items i did it for my cousin. they are too freaking lazy to see if they can set up an ebay account without a CC. Anyways I seen people charging 14.50 to 16.00 to ship breath of fire 3 disc only i think and there are tons of place on ebay that charge 10 for shipping.

my other copy is on Major backorder so i will probally just play it and see if it works with no problems and keep it. They are crashing on ebay right now anyways and i would probally be lucky to get what i paid for it back on ebay

listing fee be what 2 bucks
final vaule fee probally be 4.80 (taking final vaule of around 60)
Shipping would be around 6 or 7 (with dc and Tons of insurance)

so that would add on another 14+ 52 paid for it brings up to 66 and would be lucky to get 66 bucks out of a disc only copy
