Psyclone component cables?

So, in my never-ending quest to pick up 360 stuff before I actually get one (hopefully in the next 2 months), I saw a set of Psyclone component cables on clearance at Wal-Mart for $5.

I generally assume cables are cables, but does anyone have these? Recommend? Don't recommend?

I mean, $5 is tough to pass up, but then I still don't want to pay $5 for utter crap, you know? :lol:

the madcatz ones are crap and i would suspect these of the same... but i do need component cables and would be willing to check them out at $5. I'd jump on the deal.
 
I almost bought some for my PS2 but went with monster. They were the same price and from what the guy at best buy said psyclone is/was replacing monster. I was going to get them for the original Xbox but thought they were over priced. Only got them for the ps2 because they were the same price as the ones from sony.

If they are anything like the monster they should be good but not worth what places charge for them. For 5 bucks they are really worth it. Last I saw this stuff was going for 60 or more so I just said screw it. Again if they are the replacement for monster then they should be a nice heavy wire and connector. The ends to them should be better then the ones that will come with the 360. Mine seem as though they will come off with out even trying to pull. With monster atleast the ones for the ps2 i have you have to actually pull hard. Again this is all based on older monster cables but if psyclone is the replacement for them they should be the same. Monster cables were good but not 40-60 bucks good. More like 25 maybe 30 good. I say get them for 5 bucks but the ones that come with the 360 are fine.
