Punch-Out!! Amazon.com Exclusive Heavyweight Contender Kit $35

I wonder how limited this will be (Persona 4 Social Pack anyone)?

Honestly though, they should have put this together with a SE of the game. Who is going to buy this and NOT the game?
 
If I was into collectible stuff I would be all over that. I mean, I love punch out, but I got enough stuff in my room.
 
Yeah, I saw this POS a couple days ago. Prolly gonna end up in the 99 cent stores. So just put the $35 toward Excitebots and you'll be much better off.

After having my wii for over a year the only game I keep playing is the boxing in the wii sports so I will chances are buy this game however this I wont. I have enough crap sitting around and don't need more of it also with it not having the game that just seems odd to me and pointless in buying.
 
Why do they assume we all love King Hippo so much? He was a joke in the NES version. I guess they're still stuck on the American = Fat mentality. That would also explain the chocolate bar.

Monetary breakdown:

Inflatable* Desktop Punching Bag = $5
Boxer shorts = $5
Chocolate bar = $2

That leaves us with $23 for the crown. This will be too funny if it's made of metallic plastic akin to a Nobbies tiara.

I think it's just because King Hippo is the most recognizable character from this franchise.

I want to see pics before buying. $35 is way too steep for things I'm not going to use. Now, if i came with a pink sweatsuit....

Did Nintendo actually produce this? Because I'm all for some Nintendo-brand chocolate. But I'd be pretty pissed if I got the box and it was Mad Catz-brand chocolate.

In all seriousness though this is quite possibly the worst thing ever. If it had the previously mentioned pink sweatsuit and a Doc plushie or something I'd be all over it, but this is just crap.

I do have to say I find it pretty hilarious that if a small stuffed toy is involved, everyone one here goes crazy for it, but if it's some equally useless crap, we all complain. I'm not saying I don't go crazy for the plushies, cause I do, but it seems weird that most of us are adults and we still want stuffed toys.

I might still not buy it. Hell I skipped the Persona Social Expansion whatever. BUT I do have a weakness for Punch-Out!!...

As for the pink hoodie I guess there is always Wal-Mart...

That's because those came FREE with the games.

This seems like something that SHOULD be packaged with the game for those who pre-order, but instead they're making it only available as a separate purchase; a $35 purchase. Considering what's even in that set, it hardly seems worth the price.

this is sooo gay....... and the green glove with the fake signature is also gay.. super over priced and no game? wow....... so let me get this straight... I can buy a green glove for $5 and give it to my brother, have him sign it and put it on ebay for 1/2 the retail price?

why are they making such garbage collections? The game deserves better!!
