"Puzzle Quest" Bug Work Around??

Has anyone had problems with "Puzzle Quest" for the PSP?

I've been playing for awhile so I've accumulated the maximum number of items I can carry. In order to be able to create new items, the game requires you to sell some of the inventory. Every time I try to sell an item, my PSP freezes for about 5 seconds, goes to a black screen and shuts itself off.

I've contacted the publisher about this, and they told me what the problem is but that there is no fix for it. The only option they gave me was to start a whole new game, which I don't want to do since I'm as far along as I am.

Has anyone run into the same problem? Did you find a way around it? Would you mind sharing your solution?

sorry to hear that... well, my experience with puzzle quest is pretty good so far, only freeze on me once (doing a mgic spell resulted in massive matches). I had to remove the battery in order to reboot the PSP...

Anyhow, as for items, i don't have that problem yet, but i think i will run into it when i get too many runes...

Hopefully you'll be lucky and not strike the bugs. From searching around it seems like everyone hits some type of bugs, they just seem to differ.

How long have you been playing for?
 
For weeks!

I'm at the level cap (50)...

earning gold to enhance my skills, conquered every city i could.

I'm at the Kal-Ungar part (the Bane dude is using dead dragons).
