I've asked this before somewhere but didn't get an answer, but wtf is FWIW? That shit bugs me whenever people say it and I don't know what it means.

To avoid this sort of public embarrassment try a google search or an acronymfinder.com search. If you put qft in google the first result on the results page yields

'"QFT", internet slang meaning "quoted for truth".'

Sorry, dunno where its from. My friend sent me a link to it. I thought it was pretty funny and saved it.
 
Here's how I learned what it meant:


Someone said it to me in response to a message I left.

I interpreted it as, "Quit fucking Talking." to which I wrote back a sick burn.

However, they were just agreeing with me, so I felt like a cheap asshole gamer so I apologized, and felt stupid.

There's a few things (though I think QFT is widespread) that I really only see on CAG. I don't troll a lot of message boards, though.
