Are you freaking serious? It's a 1.5Ghz CPU REQUIRED. So yeah, you'll be able to walk Quake 4 on your fancy 'puter.

Do you listen to yourself at all? Your grammar just smacks 'tard. It's a good thing you can't run Quake on your box. You should be installing Reader Rabbit instead. :bomb:

Interesting to see that your selective hearing extends to things beyond the realm of science and faith.

Hopefully that means it will make it out as a 360 launch day title. The only 360 game I have preordered so far.

And whats your point? I have plenty of games that has far more system requirements then i am suppose to handle, and i can play them just fine. Example:

firestarter.jpg

Windows 98, 2000, XP; Pentium 3 750MHz; 128 MB RAM; 32 MB 3D card; Direct X 9

Required:

Windows XP; Pentium 4 1.7 GHz; Radeon 9100 128 MB; 40 Gig HD; 640 MB RAM

And there's lots more. There might be a slight chance that i can actually play Quake 4. If not, oh well, just grab it for xbox 360(whenever i buy it )

Dude, your computer is a piece of shit, and it will not run Doom 3 or Quake 4 worth a damn.

Your GPU is nowhere on this list.

I can only assume you're mistakenly looking at the blue ones, both of which are $400+ dollars and fairly new as apposed to your 3 year old card that was bargain bin when it was new.

If a car needs 5 quarts of oil, do you only put in 2? No, because it's what required for OPTIMAL operation. If you think you can run Carmack's latest and greatest without SACRIFICING visual quality, speed & overall enjoyment of the game, then go ahead and waste your $50 and try to run it on your Flintstonian computer.
