You can pre-order them at GoGamer.com for just $39.90 plus $1.99 dirt cheap shipping. The games will most likely retail for the usual $49.xx on release, making the pre-order roughly 20% off. Hot deal IMO...

I would (interested in Quake 4, at least, haven't played any of the CoD games yet), but my computer is far too crappy to play them. I'm gonna be lucky if UT2k4 runs on it after I upgraded my RAM.
Wonder how long it will take for a combo pack to be released.

But first, I should really upgrade my graphics card...
BF1942 was released in 2002, and the combo (BF1942/Road to Rome/Secret Weapons) pack wasn't released until sometime in 2004.. so if you want to wait another 2 years to play this awesome game, be my guest :)

This kind of kills this deal a bit for me:

Would you rather pay another eight bucks + gas money to get it the day it comes out? Be my guest.

Their dirt cheap shipping is USPS Media Mail (like EB, GS, and lots of other places) and the last 3 times I've ordered from them, it took 10 days or so to get to MO from the date of order. Maybe 11.

If I want it quick, I'll pay for it to show up quicker. Otherwise, I'll sit tight and wait.

NOOOOOO dont get dirt cheap shipping! I got dirt cheap shipping when i bought WoW from them and it took like over 2 weeks to get it. To put it in the words of my friend as he played and i waited for my game

"You know what they mean by dirt cheap shipping dont you? It means they kick your game through the dirt until it gets to your house."

That was a triple expansion pack, though. So it took probably 1.5 years for all three games to come out. BF2, however, was released in the summer and an expansion is already coming out in less than half a year. My guess is that a combo-pack will be released by next summer.

Yeah, if that's the only expansion that's ever coming out.

Raod to Rome came out 6 months after 1942 and it was not until Sept. or Oct. that the combo pack came out (the first combo was the deluxe edition). You would be much better off getting Battlefield 2 now and then getting Special Forces when it comes out as by the time the deluxe edition comes out people will have moved on.

I gotta say the game was well worth trading in my N64 and games at EB. Definately my game of the year so far (the only thing that may take it away is FEAR)
