No, I'm not. But regardless, the 3 games I mentioned on XBOX and PC didn't run particalarly well on lowest possible setting on my PC but both Quake IV and Call of Duty 2 run well on medium settings on my PC. I just can't see how those games needed the 360, but the others only needed the XBOX.
Well trust me, if you play it in HD you'll notice an immediate difference. I've played my games on both a standard TV at my parent's house and on my 1080i TV at my apartment and there is a HUGE difference. Even in the XBox Dashboard the letters are a lot more clear and easy to read on an HDTV.
Like I said earlier though, its really unfair to use Quake IV as a standard to compare 360 and PC because it is a horrible, lazy port. Call of Duty 2, when played in 720p, will show what the 360 is capable of in comparison to computer.
In your original post you mentioned Chronicles of Riddick, Star Wars Republic Commando, and Doom 3. Now of those, Chronicles of Riddick is a game that was developed for the XBox originally so of course its going to run better on the Xbox than the PC because the PC version was done after the fact. Star Wars Republic Commando is similar to this example, in that, it is a PC port of a game that was designed with consoles in mind first. Now with Doom 3, no offense, but I honestly don't see how you can say that it runs better on the Xbox than on PC. I've seen and played both, and while the Xbox version is very solid for a port, it still doesn't come close to the PC version.
