Added 2/28:
Anyone who would be buying Bond Blu-Rays with or without a sale would probably be interested to learn that Licence to Kill and The Man with the Golden Gun can now be pre-ordered at Amazon and are scheduled to be released May 12th. Both are, as of now, $24.49 and ineligible for the QUANTUMS discount. Steelbook status is, as yet, unknown.

Licence to Kill
The Man with the Golden Gun

Thanks for posting, not a bad deal for anyone looking to pick up some of these titles.

I want the following:
Quantum $26.99
Moonraker $23.95
The World is Not Enough $23.95
Goldfinger $23.99

Total would be $98.99 - $20.00 = $78.88 or $19.72 each.

Many of us bought these titles for $5 each on BD during Christmas from Amazon:
Dr. No (1962)
From Russia With Love (1963)
Thunderball (1965)
Live and Let Die (1973)
For Your Eyes Only (1981)
Die Another Day (2002

I will probably wait to see what BB and others do for special promo pricing during first week of release.

Thanks for the info, I'll pre-order QOS + Goldfinger and if BB has a deal that week, I can always can it.
Cool Thanks!!
JJ

Thx OP, canceled my pre order for Goldfinger steelbook and placed one for Quantum and the other three new movies coming out.

Not much of a steelbook collector anyway...I'd rather go with the promo pricing.
Unfortunately it doesn't work with the steelbooks.
It does if you want to do a bit of work:
I placed an order for all the Steelbook Bonds, Never Say Never and QoS. E-mailed them and they manaually lowered the price for me $25 on one item to make up for the code not working. Keep in mind the Steelbook and NSN are not on that page...but tried anyway and succeeded

he he, same here. Will keep the preorder at least for a while $20.49 per movie is still too much for my tastes. I may just wait till a good deal and PM at Bestbuy for the Steelbooks (hell, my BB still has the original 6 in steelbook, multiple copies at that. )
IF BB carries them again in Steelbook form.
that's what I'm wondering. We haven't heard whether they wil have the steels again. I'll hold on to this pre order till the last moment till I can find out if BB carries them. If they aren't and it's only amazon this time I'll see if I can rustle u some Amazon Gift Cards, otherwise I'll just cancel and wait a week till the inevitable sale.

It does say Amazon.com Exclusive Steelbook Edition next to the descriptions of Goldfinger, Moonraker and TWINE which makes me think Best Buy isn't gonna have them this time, but who knows with these things?

Man, that deal around the holidays got me all spoiled. I haven't bought a Blu-ray since. With these new Bonds, though, I might have to bite. Goooooooooooldfinger!

Thanks for the heads up, did the same thing and it qualified for a $25 discount.

A great deal if you don't have any of these already. What I find weird is that they already have this promo up when these don't come out for another month.
For those of you who are wondering, From Russia with Love is the best James Bond movie.
5. Dr. No
4. From Russia With Love
3. Goldeneye
2. Casino Royale (2006)
1. Goldfinger

Rather than get in on the "my bond movie is better than yours" stuff, I'd like to thank the OP! Didn't know about this previously, but DO know I want QoS to go with my Casino Royale blu-ray discs.

While I have watched Bond from the beginning, I don't feel the need to rebuy them ALL on Blu-Ray. So instead I'm getting Brosnan and Craig as available. So I saved $7 on my order, and will get the 3 I ordered shortly. Works for me!

Not good, this one has a decent set of extras.

And the flick was only 90 minutes long, the producers picked the opposite of the right director for a straight up action movie(which is what QoS should have been). Plus there's not really a story - basically there are very few layers for this one, so the extras provided will be more than adequate.

The only way they could repackage it is if they put it in steel.
So what are the chances of a Quantum doubledip? Any news on that? Or is this the only planned release?
I would say there's a 100% chance of a Quantum double-dip, regardless of what extras are or aren't on this Blu-Ray. Every single Bond movie so far has been at least double-dipped. I would pretty much bet anything that around the time Bond 23 comes out (November '11) they will double-dip at least Quantum, if not more movies (I'd imagine Dr. No for the 50th Anniversary too). That said we're talking about a double-dip that probably won't happen for nearly three years so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I really liked the flick, the story is thin for sure but it was very entertaining and I'm sure it will be a nice watch in Blu-Ray. I picked it up along with Dr. No.

Woot, I have a $5 off a MGM or FOX Blu-Ray movie from Target that expires on 3/31 and this movie comes out on 3/24! If Target has it for a decent price, might only cost me $20ish for it which would be nice.

Any chance you could let me know where you got said coupon?

It's a register printout coupon that comes out from time to time with your receipt when you checkout with a debit or credit card, I got one too.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service FTW!
Indeed Sir, I'm disappointed that we didn't get the Laz in hi-def this time round.

As for me, I picked up the last set for $16.99 each at Frys on the day of release, hopefully they will have the same price again for the new ones.

I was curious why I got one. I think I bought a Mighty Mugg and got one. Thought it was random, but looks like it'll be useful.

I think they're directed at certain shoppers based on their past purchases. Hence why they come up when you use the same card you've used in prior purchases.

How else would they know I have a cat, buy BD's on occasion and enjoy Pepsi products? ;)

From that store, I only buy clearance games, Mighty Muggs, and the occasional personal hygiene item, and maybe a DVD here and there.
Is there going to be a Blu-Ray Steelbook release of QOS anywhere?
Doesn't look like it...there was never one for Casino Royale either, so collecting the rest of them in steelbooks is pretty pointless
Why can't us non-bluray buyers get the same love?
Probably because all your movies are cheaper to begin with.
Unfortunately it doesn't work with the steelbooks.
I ordered the 3 unreleased steels with QoS, then I emailed them telling them the discount wasn't applied. They deducted $20 from one of the movies. So it should work with the steelbooks.
