Question about Asian version of PS3 games

There is a game I want that'll come out early next year in Japan and I don't want to wait a year for US localization. My question is how long does it take for Asian version to come out after the Japanese release? And are all Asian versions playable in English?
 
I don't know about the time it takes to create the Asian versions, but I can tell you it won't necessarily be playable in English.

If you check PlayAsia, they generally specify to what extent the game contains English. Some of them will only contain an English manual, while others, such as Aquanauts, will be completely in English.

May I ask which game you are looking into?
 
Thanks for the tip. Japanese developers need to realize that US localizations need to be much quicker. Start them even before the game is completed. And they wonder why year old game can't compete with new games in the US. Engine and tech and is year older and gameplay system that hasn't taken into account improvements of recent releases.
