Question about Assassin's Creed I PC versions

I'm pretty sure that the PC version of AC launched was the director's cut, with the extra missions and whatnot.
There are two versions of AC 1 for PC i'm considering buying so that I can try out the missions but I just wanted to ask a clarification questions.

Here are the 2 versions I have found:

I was wondering if these are both the same, by which I mean they are both the "Director's Cut" with the extra content

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure all versions of AC1 on the PC are the director's cut version.

I believe the second one on the bottom is the jewel case without the DC.

I got one pictured on top.
