Question about deal, buying game for current gen, upgrading to next gen?

I read somewhere that you can buy certain games (FIFA 14 and the new Call of Duty were the ones I remember) for Xbox 360 or PS3, and then once the next gen comes out you can bring them into some store and pay $10 to upgrade to the next gen.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm hoping this was a Best Buy deal but I can't find it anywhere.

 
Could anyone link me to the deal? I want to read the details.

I might get FIFA 14 for 360 and then upgrade to Xbone once it comes out.

I believe that's in the terms. Not sure though. I believe amazon was doing the same though.
