Question about Diablo III

I want to buy it for the Macbook I have, I know it'll run on lower settings but I love the series too much NOT to buy it. My question is whether the PC physical copy will also install onto the Mac, or if I have to buy it online. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm not a computer guy. I'll delete this when I get my answer, thanks guys.

Log into your battle.net account. Go to Games & Codes and you can download the Mac client.

On the page that you linked, if you look at the system requirements, it says:
Mac Compatibility: Mac OS X 10.6.8/10.7.x

I don't know anything beyond that, though.

All physical copies of Blizzard games are hybrid versions. You could have posted this in the huge Diablo 3 thread, too.
