Question about GBC game on GBA

I've quite new to portable gaming, and recently picked up a copy of Link's Awakening DX on ebgames.com. I loaded up the cart today in my non-SP GBA (once before and once after cleaning it) and it seems the game is stuck on the initial Gameboy load screen.

Could the cart be broken? I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this before, and if it simply means an hourlong busride for me to hit up a B&M store to try to get an exchange. Thanks!

I have no problems with Zelda DX on my SP--so, yeah, it's probably the cart (assuming you have other cards loading fine).

I'm pretty sure EBgames.com will let you exchange through them--you don't *have* to go to a store. They'll have you print out a pre-paid mailing label, and you'll return the game you have, and then send you a new one. It's pretty quick given all the steps.
