Question about newer model SNES

I was in my local thrift store today and they had a newer model SNES and two controllers for $15. The only problem is that whoever donated it brought the wrong hookups (they were for a PS2). I have an original Super Nintendo already. Will those hookups work with the newer model?

I may have this wrong since I haven't used a SNES 2 first hand, but it is my understanding that AV cords should be interchangeable between the two models, but the second model doesn't support the RF switch and needs a special adapter to use it. If you scroll down about 3/4 of this page, there's a picture of the adapter: http://vidgame.net/NINTENDO/SNES2.htm

I dont think the Gamecube one worked though. I had a mini snes for quite some time. The gamecube is hooked to a (yellow) analog cable and the snes needed the RF type, or it just didnt produce a screen. I am almost positive but its been 5 years or so.

The N64 one works I do believe. Either way thats a steal snatch it up and go from there.
