question about PMing

Does preordering mess up your ability to pricematch? It seems like it shouldn't, but I wonder if the deposit messes things up (in my mind: "But you only paid $X for the game - the rest was for your deposit.")
If it matters, I'm thinking about BB (they are the nicest in my area about PMing, I've found).

I don't think preordering would mess up pricematching. With Best Buy, the policy implies that you do the pricematching stuff after you've purchased the item anyways (tho most places let you price match when you first purchase the item).
