question about price matching at Walmart...

they have FF 2's while BB is out. would it be possible to price match? and vice versa, Walmart's out of VJ, and it's $20 there.
 
my wal mart price matches only with proof of the other price...as well as the other store having to be in stock (this is the policy at every store ive been to....but luckily....a lot of employees jsut dont care)....also...wal mart will not price match plus give you 10% off....like cc and bb...
 
Sometimes they will call if you bug them a bit and are nice, but the other store has to be local. But that depends on the store manager too.

cuz u dont want them to call...they're calling to make sure the item is in stock at the other place....which it isnt...or else you probably would just go there

i have to deal with this customer service girl from hell at my best buy who had to call target one time to confirm that they had a dvd in stock so i could get it pricematched....she tried to say they didnt have it in stock....so i went to target cuz i knew i saw a bunch of em there a few days b4....and sure enough they had em....plenty of em...so i asked the electronics clerk if someone just called to ask for the price of the dvd....and he said nope....
 
In all of my life and all of the times that I've done a price match at WalMart, I've never been given a hard time. Each time I've ever done it, all I had to do was present them with an ad with the lower price being shown next to a picture of the item I want to buy.

They didn't have to call the other store.

The other store didn't have to have it in stock.

It didn't matter if it was a sales item or not.

The store with the lower price didn't have to be local.

I've printed ads off of the internet from salespapers from other STATES, of stores that we don't even have in this area anywhere close to me, and they didn't even question it for me.

I just did it today actually. I also recently did it for the TCM 2-disc DVD and the Master & Commander 2-disc DVD, all this month.
 
If your going to PM at Wal-mart go there late at night. I always do my shopping there between 2-3AM

i used to do this....but now the 24 hour stores in my area close at 11 and reopen at 6

Me too! For some reason they have to keep the ad though.
