Question about the GameStop 25% off deal.

This seems like an obvious answer, being no, but I figured I'd ask.

Would this promotion work if I pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption and Fallout: New Vegas? Like I said, No is the seemingly obvious answer, but I'm curious.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, I'm sure there's an specific thread for this deal, but whatever.
 
Yes you're right. The 25DEAL code doesn't work on pre-orders, only in-stock items(new or used). There was a code weeks ago 25OFF that did work for pre-orders so that's probably where you're getting confused. Hope this helps. Oh and the 25DEAL code doesn't work on point cards/etc. either!

For Red Dead Redemption there are plenty of deals. Amazon has a $20 game credit with pre-order along with Wal-mart(with a $20 GC) and Gamestop with a $10 credit plus the limited edition extras(this is Gamestop exclusive only). Toys r us is giving a $25 GC with purchase of Red Dead Redemption as well. Oh and Gamestop has a coupon out but it's in store only, buy Red Dead Redemption and get 25% off a used game.

Can't seem to find the coupon but its in the Gamestop thread on CAG. Don't know of any deals for Fallout: New Vegas yet, but I'm sure closer to release there will be something.
