Question about trading in my fat DS

Hey guys,

I planned on trading in my DS to Gamestop while they still had the extra $20 on handheld deal going on, but the label on the back with the barcode and the model number and all that has been worn off. Will they still take it or not?
 
Best off calling your local store. I had the same issue with a DS Lite recently, and of the two stores near me, one said they would and one said they wouldn't.
 
I had the same issue when I was trading in my old DS a while back for the DSi promotion; however, my store would not take it because they needed to have the bar-code visible so they could add it to their records. Like the previous poster said, best to call and check.
 
I say go up their and give it a try. What do you have to lose? I once traded in a GBA (before DS came out) without the barcode. Of course they called later in the week but I still got away with it.
