Question about US Wii and Jap. Accessories

I live in Japan but have a US Wii. Can I go to the local stores to buy Wii controllers and use them on my US Wii? I know the games are not gonna work but maybe the contollers will??

Also I saw 500 or 1,000 free wii points on one of the boxes. Does anyone know if I can use these too?

THere is no region lock on accessories. SO you can use any accessory on any system. I dont know about the Wii cards

Ehh the wii points are gonna be tricky, because of the wii store you are accessing. Because you have a US wii, you are accessing the US wii store right?
